What Is the Fabletics Charge on Your Statement?

A Fabletics charge on your bank statement is almost always the company’s VIP membership fee of $69.95, billed automatically on the 6th of every month after you accepted a discounted introductory offer and were enrolled in an ongoing subscription. You can stop future charges by skipping or canceling, and you can try to get past charges reversed through Fabletics or your bank.

How to Recognize the Charge

The merchant name varies by bank and card. In the United States, the most common descriptor is “IBI*FABLETICS.COM” followed by an 855 phone number and “CA” for California. You may also see “FABLETICS.COM” or “FABLETICS BY JUSTF,” a reference to parent company JustFab. Outside the U.S., it can appear as “FABLETICS, LONDON” or “FABLETICS BY JUSTFAB UK.”

The amount is the strongest clue. A $69.95 charge from any of those merchants is the monthly VIP membership fee. Smaller amounts from the same merchant are usually individual product purchases shipped separately.

Why You’re Being Charged

Most people see this charge because they bought something from Fabletics at a steep introductory price, often along the lines of two pairs of leggings for $24. Accepting that deal at checkout enrolls you in VIP membership, and the $69.95 monthly billing cycle starts the following month on the payment method you entered.1Fabletics. How do I sign up to be a Fabletics member?

The $69.95 isn’t a pure service fee. Each payment converts into a “VIP Credit” in your account, redeemable for any single item worth up to $100 or applied toward an outfit or bundle.2Fabletics. What is a VIP Credit and what can I purchase with it? You’re not paying for nothing, but you are paying every month whether or not you planned to shop, and the credit is store credit, not refundable cash. Unused credits expire 12 months after they’re issued.3Fabletics. What happens if I don’t skip the month?

How to Stop Future Charges

You have two options: skip each month, or cancel the membership entirely.

Between the 1st and the 5th of every month, you can log into your Fabletics account and skip that month’s charge. If you skip, nothing is billed and no credit is issued. If you don’t skip by the end of the 5th, the $69.95 processes on the 6th.4Fabletics. What is “Skip the Month” and how do I skip? You can skip as many consecutive months as you want, but you have to do it each time; there is no auto-skip setting.

To cancel outright, use your account settings online, the live chat on the Fabletics site, or call customer service at (844) 322-5384, which operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.5Fabletics. Fabletics Official Site Get a cancellation confirmation email and keep it. That email is your proof if charges keep appearing afterward. Any credits already in your account remain usable on future purchases even after you cancel.6Fabletics. What happens to my VIP credits if I cancel my membership?

Canceling stops future charges. It does not automatically refund anything already billed.

How to Get a Refund for a Past Charge

Start with Fabletics directly. Contact customer service as soon as you spot the charge and have ready: the email address on your account, the date and amount of the charge, and any order or transaction numbers from your order history. Records of past skips help if you’re arguing the charge was an error. Refunds are generally returned to the original payment method and take roughly five to ten business days to appear.

The sooner you ask, the better. A charge caught within days is far more likely to be reversed than one from three months back.

Disputing the Charge With Your Bank

If Fabletics won’t refund you, you can dispute the charge with your credit card issuer. Federal law gives you the right to challenge a billing error in writing within 60 days of the statement date showing the charge.7Office of the Law Revision Counsel. 15 USC 1666 – Correction of billing errors Your dispute should identify your account, the charge amount, and why you believe it’s wrong.

Once you file, the issuer must acknowledge the dispute within 30 days and resolve it within two billing cycles, no more than 90 days total. While the investigation is open, the issuer cannot try to collect the disputed amount or report it as delinquent.7Office of the Law Revision Counsel. 15 USC 1666 – Correction of billing errors Most banks let you start the dispute by phone or in their app, but mailing a written notice to the billing address on your statement preserves your full rights under the statute.

One caution. If you did sign up for the membership and simply forgot to skip, the charge technically isn’t unauthorized; it’s the subscription working as designed. Fabletics can respond to a chargeback with your original enrollment agreement. Disputes land hardest when you can show you already canceled, or that you never agreed to recurring charges at all.

Where the Law Stands

Fabletics’ billing is governed by the Restore Online Shoppers’ Confidence Act. ROSCA requires any company using an online negative option feature to clearly disclose all material terms before collecting payment information, get your express informed consent before billing, and provide a simple way to stop the recurring charges.8Office of the Law Revision Counsel. 15 USC 8403 – Negative option marketing on the Internet

A 2024 FTC “click-to-cancel” rule that would have required cancellation to be as easy as sign-up was struck down by a federal court on procedural grounds and never took effect. The FTC issued an advance notice of proposed rulemaking in March 2026 to explore updated regulations, but no new federal mandate is in place.9Federal Trade Commission. Negative Option Rule For now, ROSCA and your card issuer’s billing-error process are the tools you have.
