Vertafore Sircon Charge: How to Stop It, Refunds, and Disputes

A Vertafore Sircon charge on your bank or card statement is a fee from Sircon, an insurance licensing and compliance platform owned by Vertafore. It shows up in one of two ways: as a one-time payment for a license application, renewal, or related state filing you submitted through Sircon, or as a recurring monthly subscription for an agency account. The total often bundles a state licensing fee with Sircon’s own processing fee, which is why the amount may not match what you expected the state to charge.1Vertafore. Sircon for Individuals

Why the Charge Appeared

Sircon is used by insurance producers, agencies, and state regulators across all 50 states to handle licensing, renewals, reinstatements, and continuing education tracking.2Sircon. Sircon Homepage If you, your employer, or an agency you work with recently filed anything license-related, that filing almost certainly ran through Sircon’s checkout, and the card on file was billed.

One-Time Transaction Fees

A single charge usually means a license application, renewal, or reinstatement was processed. The total combines the state’s licensing fee with a Sircon processing fee, and the state fee itself varies by license type and jurisdiction.3Sircon. Recurring Subscription Fees

If the charge repeats every month, it’s tied to a Sircon for Agencies Premium subscription. Premium runs $22.95 per month, plus $0.50 per license, per agent, per month for individual license tracking. The Basic tier has no monthly fee but still bills per-transaction charges when licenses are filed.4Vertafore. Sircon for Agencies Account Overview

How to Stop the Charges Going Forward

Two separate settings control future billing, and you generally need to change both.

Downgrade the Subscription

To end the monthly Premium fee, log in at sircon.com and open your Business Account. Click Profile, then Organization Profile, then Subscription Options under the Account Information header. Change the level to Basic and confirm. Basic keeps the account open with no monthly fee, though per-transaction charges still apply when you file licenses through it.4Vertafore. Turn Off Autopay

To stop automatic card billing entirely, log in and click Admin, then Billing and Invoicing. On the Payments and Invoices tab, select Manage Autopay, switch it from On to Off, and save.5Vertafore. Sircon Autopay Settings

Getting a Refund on a Charge Already Made

Sircon’s refund policy is strict. Once a licensing transaction is submitted, Vertafore treats the application and the funds as the property of the state and says it cannot cancel, change, or refund the transaction. Users agree to this by checking a confirmation box before finalizing the submission.6Vertafore. If a licensing transaction was submitted in error, Vertafore directs you to the Department of Insurance in the state where it was filed, since the state controls the funds and any amendment or refund is at that state’s discretion.6Vertafore. Sircon Transaction Cancellation and Refund Policy

Contacting Sircon and Disputing the Charge

Sircon prefers billing inquiries to go through its online support form. Visit sircon.com and select Contact Support. You’ll need your Subscriber or Account ID, the transaction confirmation number, your National Producer ID, and details about the state and license involved. A case is created on submission and worked in the order received.8Vertafore. Contact Support Phone support is available at 877-876-4430, but you’ll need an existing case number before calling.9Sircon. Texas Licensing Information
