If a line item marked “TDCT” has shown up on your bank or credit card statement, it’s a charge from TD Canada Trust — “TDCT” is the internal abbreviation the bank uses for itself across statements and documentation.1TD Canada Trust. TD Business Central That means the charge did not come from an outside merchant. It’s a fee or transaction processed by TD: a monthly account fee, an excess-transaction charge, an overdraft or NSF fee, a paper-statement fee, a wire transfer, a foreign-currency surcharge, or interest on a TD credit card. Matching the dollar amount to TD’s published fee list is usually enough to identify it, and if nothing fits, you can dispute the charge through EasyWeb, the TD app, or by phone.
