A Studio 98 charge on your card or bank statement is a recurring subscription payment to Studio98, LLC, a Florida company that sells AI business consulting, custom software, and two subscription platforms called GrandCentr.al and Rave Retailer.1Studio98. Studio98 Homepage The charge will keep repeating every billing cycle until someone on the account emails a written cancellation to support@studio98.com at least seven days before the next billing date.2Studio98. What You’re Paying For
Studio98 bills for a few different things, so the dollar amount on your statement is the clue to which one. The consulting side covers AI implementation, custom “agents” that handle tasks like sales outreach and financial reporting, workflow automation, and ongoing staff support after setup.3Studio98. About Studio98 The software side has two products: GrandCentr.al, an all-in-one CRM and business management tool,4GrandCentr.al. Terms of Service and Rave Retailer, an AI e-commerce platform whose plans start at $199 per month and run past $2,000 per month for larger catalogs.5Rave Retailer. Pricing The consulting plans don’t publish fixed prices, so a consulting charge will reflect whatever package was signed up for.
Why the Charge Keeps Coming Back
Every Studio98 agreement has a mandatory three-month minimum term. After that, it rolls automatically month-to-month until you cancel.2Studio98. Terms of Services GrandCentr.al works the same way, with fees billed in advance and automatic renewal built in.4GrandCentr.al. Terms of Service Invoices are due on receipt, and if payment isn’t received within 21 days, Studio98 may suspend access. Suspension is not cancellation; the billing obligation continues.
How to Cancel
Cancellation only takes effect once the initial three-month commitment has passed. Send a written request to support@studio98.com at least seven days before your next billing date. Phone calls and verbal notice don’t satisfy the terms.2Studio98. Terms of Services Once the cancellation takes effect, access to all Studio98 services and platforms is turned off.
Fees already charged are non-refundable. The one exception runs the other direction: if Studio98 terminates the subscription itself, you’re entitled to a pro-rata refund for the unused part of the billing period.2Studio98. Terms of Services For billing questions, Studio98 directs customers to accounting@studio98.com.
If You’re Still Within 30 Days
Studio98 advertises a 125% refund guarantee for new customers. To use it, you have to notify the company in writing within 30 days of activation that you did not receive a return on investment.2Studio98. Terms of Services Past that 30-day window, you’re back to the standard cancellation process.
If You Never Signed Up
If no one on the account authorized the subscription, treat it as fraud and contact your bank. Under the Fair Credit Billing Act, your liability for unauthorized credit card charges is capped at $50 when you report the fraud within 60 days of the statement date.6Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. How Do I Get My Money Back After I Discover an Unauthorized Transaction
Debit cards are stricter. Reporting within two business days of discovering the charge limits your liability to $50. Waiting longer raises the cap to $500, and going past 60 days from the statement date can wipe out protection for anything that posts after that point.6Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. How Do I Get My Money Back After I Discover an Unauthorized Transaction Banks generally have 10 business days to investigate a disputed charge and must issue a temporary credit if the investigation runs longer.
Florida Auto-Renewal Protections
Studio98 is a Florida LLC, and its terms say disputes are governed by Florida law and heard in Florida courts.2Studio98. Terms of Services Florida Statute ยง 501.165 requires sellers to disclose auto-renewal terms clearly and conspicuously. For contracts with an initial term of 12 months or more that renew for more than a month, the seller must send written or electronic notice between 30 and 60 days before the cancellation deadline. If the seller skips that notice, the auto-renewal clause is void and unenforceable, and any unearned portion of the contract must be refunded.7Florida Senate. Florida Statute Section 501.165 One important limit: the statute excludes consumers acting on behalf of a business entity, so these protections apply mainly to individual purchasers, not to companies that bought the service for business use.
