Passion App Charge on Your Card? How to Cancel, Refund, or Dispute

A Passionapp charge on your card is a payment processed through Passion.io, a platform that lets fitness coaches, course creators, and other digital entrepreneurs run their own branded mobile apps. Because Passion.io handles billing for thousands of individual creators, the statement entry reads “passionapp” or “passion.io” instead of naming the yoga instructor, trainer, or coaching program you actually signed up for.1Passion.io. Collect Payments from Your Clients Once you identify which app is behind the charge, canceling and getting your money back is straightforward.

Why the Charge Doesn’t Match Anything You Recognize

Most Passionapp charges are recurring subscriptions for workout programs, meditation libraries, business coaching, or skill-building courses. If the charge is a surprise, it often traces back to a free trial that converted to a paid subscription, or a membership you signed up for months ago and stopped using. The creator’s name never appears on your statement because Passion.io is the merchant of record for the transaction.

How to Find Out Which App Is Charging You

Start with your email. Search your inbox for “passion,” “welcome,” “subscription,” or “receipt.” The original sign-up confirmation almost always names the creator’s branded app and shows the subscription amount, which you can match against the charge.

If email turns up nothing, check your app history. On iPhone, open the App Store, tap your profile icon, and scroll through your purchased apps. On Android, open the Google Play Store and look through installed and previously installed apps. You’re looking for anything related to fitness, coaching, courses, or wellness that you downloaded around the date of the first charge. Open the app and check its account or billing screen to confirm it runs on Passion.io.

How to Cancel the Subscription

Cancel through whatever channel you signed up through. If you subscribed inside an app store, you cancel there, not inside the app itself. If you signed up on a website, you cancel through the creator’s web portal or Passion.io directly. Getting this wrong is the most common reason people think they’ve canceled and keep getting billed.

On iPhone

Open Settings, tap your name, then tap Subscriptions. Find the app in your active subscriptions and tap Cancel Subscription.2Apple Support. If You Want to Cancel a Subscription from Apple Billing stops at the end of the current paid period, and you keep access until then. If the app isn’t listed, you didn’t subscribe through Apple and need the web steps below.

On Android

Open the Google Play Store, tap your profile icon, go to Payments & subscriptions, then Manage subscriptions. Select the app and tap Cancel subscription.3Google Play Help. Cancel, Pause, or Change a Subscription on Google Play Access runs through the end of the billing period you already paid for.

If You Signed Up on the Web

Neither Apple nor Google can help if the subscription originated on a website. Log in at passion.io/login or on the creator’s own site and look for billing or account settings. Some creators include a cancellation link in the original welcome email. If you can’t find a self-service option, contact Passion.io through its help center form.4Passion.io. Help Center

Getting a Refund Within 30 Days

Passion.io offers a 30-day money-back guarantee. If you cancel within 30 days of the purchase, you’re eligible for a full refund on both one-time purchases and subscription plans.5Passion.io. Cancel first through the app store or web portal, then contact Passion.io support with your registered email, the approximate date of the charge, and the amount. After the 30-day window closes, you can still stop future billing, but refunds for past charges are at the individual creator’s discretion.

Disputing a Charge You Didn’t Authorize

Before calling your bank, rule out the obvious. Check whether a family member with access to your card downloaded something, and see if the amount matches a free trial that recently expired. A dispute you later have to retract is a hassle, and contacting Passion.io directly often resolves a billing error within days, while a bank chargeback typically takes weeks.4Passion.io. Help Center

If the charge genuinely isn’t yours, the rules depend on which type of card was used.
