An Outlimit Inc charge on your bank or credit card statement is a billing descriptor for Outlimit Inc., a Delaware-based developer and reseller of mobile apps and other digital products.1Outlimit.org. Outlimit Inc Official Site The charge almost always comes from a subscription to one of the company’s apps, many of which start as short free trials that convert into paid plans automatically. If you don’t recognize it, you can usually clear it up by checking your app store subscriptions, contacting the company, or disputing the transaction with your card issuer.
Which Apps Bill as Outlimit Inc
Outlimit is the billing entity behind several apps, so a subscription to any of them can show up on your statement as “Outlimit Inc” or “outlimit.org” rather than the app’s own name. The products listed on the company’s website include Kidgy, a parental-control and family-locator app; Spottrack, a phone-tracking app; Protect247, a device-protection service; and Searqle, a people-search tool listed as upcoming.1Outlimit.org. Why the Charge Appeared
Most Outlimit charges trace back to auto-renewing subscriptions. Some of the apps offer free trials as short as three days that roll into paid plans if you don’t cancel before the trial ends. Kidgy has been priced at $9.99 a month for one device and $14.99 for two, and one user reported a $74 annual charge triggered after a seven-day trial expired.4Apple App Store. Kidgy App Reviews

Cancel Through the App Store First
Because Outlimit’s apps are distributed through the Apple App Store and Google Play, the subscription is usually managed through the store, not directly through Outlimit. Checking your purchase and subscription history there is the fastest way to confirm whether you subscribed, see the next renewal date, and stop future charges. On iOS, open Settings, tap your Apple ID, then Subscriptions. On Android, open the Google Play app and go to Payments & Subscriptions. Canceling in the store prevents the next renewal but does not automatically refund a charge that already posted; refunds for past charges go through the store’s refund request process or through the steps below.
Dispute the Charge With Your Card Issuer
If the charge is unauthorized, or the company has not responded to a cancellation or refund request, dispute it with your bank or credit card issuer. Under the Fair Credit Billing Act, you can dispute billing errors on a credit card account, including unauthorized charges, by notifying the issuer in writing within 60 days of the date the statement containing the charge was sent.8Federal Trade Commission. Using Credit Cards and Disputing Charges Send the notice to the issuer’s billing-inquiry address, not the payment address, and include your name, account number, the charge amount and date, and why you believe the charge is in error.9Federal Trade Commission. Once the issuer receives the dispute, it must acknowledge it in writing within 30 days and resolve it within 90 days. You can withhold payment on the disputed amount during the investigation without the account being reported as delinquent. Federal law caps your liability for unauthorized credit card charges at $50, and many issuers waive even that under zero-liability policies.8Federal Trade Commission. Debit card protections under federal law are weaker, so if the charge hit a debit card, contact your bank immediately to limit your exposure.10Federal Trade Commission.
