Next Vision Limited Charge: Source, Cancellation, and Refunds

A charge from Next Vision Limited on your bank or credit card statement is almost always an auto-renewing subscription to one of the company’s mobile apps, bought through the Apple App Store or Google Play. To stop it, cancel the subscription in the store that billed you; to recover money already taken, request a refund from Apple or Google, and if that fails, dispute the charge with your card issuer.

Which App the Charge Came From

Next Vision Limited is a Hong Kong app developer with a large catalog of scanner and “identifier” apps. Rock Identifier is the best known. The rest follow the same pattern under different names: CoinSnap and NoteSnap for currency, StarSnap for sports cards, AntiqSnap for antiques, ComicSnap for comic books, FoilSnap for trading cards, PhilSnap for stamps, and VinylSnap for vinyl records. The company also publishes BuySnap and FlipSnap for shopping, HomeCraft for DIY projects, OkayFish for fish care, and LazyFit for workouts.1Apple App Store. Next Vision Limited Developer Page

Why the Charge Appeared

Nearly all of Next Vision Limited’s apps use the same billing setup. You get a short free trial, typically seven days, that automatically converts into a paid subscription unless you turn off auto-renewal at least 24 hours before the trial ends. After that, the subscription renews at the end of each billing period, and your account is charged within 24 hours before the next period begins. Any unused portion of the free trial is forfeited once the paid subscription starts.2Sensor Tower. Rock Identifier App Overview

Reports from users describe the same experience: a free download, a quick tap through a trial prompt, and a later charge they didn’t expect. One App Store reviewer said they deleted the app and canceled the subscription but were still billed for an annual plan; another said they were charged $7 despite expecting a free trial; a third said the developer bills “days ahead of time” and makes cancellation difficult.6Apple App Store.
