Tasks You Can Handle Online Instead
Many things that used to require a call now run through the PLA’s online portal. For verifying an Indiana license as part of an application in another state, the Nursys system is the national nurse license verification database maintained by the National Council of State Boards of Nursing. If You Want to File a Complaint Against a Nurse
Complaints against a licensed Indiana nurse do not go to the Board of Nursing. They are handled through the Indiana Attorney General’s Consumer Protection Division, and the complaint form is available on the Attorney General’s website.6Indiana State Government.
