What Happens at the Airport

After landing at Sangster International in Montego Bay or Norman Manley International in Kingston, you head to the immigration hall. Present your passport and the digital confirmation to the officer. Once your identity and entry status are verified, you continue to baggage claim.

Customs checks your electronic declaration against what you are actually carrying. If you declared items above the duty-free threshold, expect to be sent to a secondary inspection area where the value of your goods is assessed and any duty calculated. If your declaration matches your bags, you walk through to arrivals.
