To cancel your WE tv subscription, cancel it on the platform that’s actually billing you. WE tv is delivered through AMC+, the AMC Networks streaming service, and your cancellation path depends entirely on where you signed up: AMC+ directly, Apple, Google Play, Amazon, Roku, or YouTube TV. Canceling in the wrong place is the most common reason charges keep appearing.
Find Out Who Is Billing You
Open your most recent bank or credit card statement and look at the merchant name on the charge. “AMC Networks” or “AMC+” means you subscribed directly at amcplus.com. “Apple.com/bill” means Apple. “Google” points to Google Play. “Amazon,” “Roku,” and “YouTube TV” each mean the cancellation happens inside those accounts, not on the AMC+ site.
If you can’t remember which email address you used, search your inbox for “AMC+” or “WE tv.” The original welcome message will confirm both the platform and the account. Once you know the biller, use the matching section below.
Cancel Directly on AMC+
If you subscribed at amcplus.com, open a web browser and go to amcplus.com/account. Click “Subscription,” then click “Cancel.”1AMC+. AMC Plus – FAQs Do this in a browser rather than the AMC+ app. The site may show a discount offer or ask why you’re leaving; click through every screen until a confirmation appears. A cancellation abandoned at a retention offer is not a cancellation, and it’s the most common reason people are charged again the next month.
Cancel on iPhone or iPad
If Apple bills you, the AMC+ website cannot stop the charges. Open Settings, tap your name at the top, then tap “Subscriptions.” Find AMC+ or WE tv, tap it, and tap “Cancel Subscription.” The button may sit near the bottom of the screen. A red expiration date in place of a cancel button means the subscription is already canceled.2Apple Support. If you want to cancel a subscription from Apple
Access continues through the end of the current billing period, and no further charges are made after that.
Cancel on Android
Open the Google Play app and go to your subscriptions page. Select AMC+, tap “Cancel subscription,” and follow the prompts. You can also get there through Settings: tap “Google,” then “Manage your Google Account,” then “Payments & subscriptions,” then “Manage subscriptions.”3Google Play Help. If AMC+ doesn’t show up in either place, you’re probably signed in to a different Google account than the one you subscribed with. Your confirmation email will tell you which account to switch to.
Cancel Through Amazon Prime Video
Go to “Account & Settings” and choose “Your subscriptions.” Find the AMC+ add-on, select “Unsubscribe,” and confirm. Your end date appears on the confirmation screen, and you can reverse the cancellation up to that date.4Amazon. Cancel Your Prime Video Add-On Subscription
Amazon does not refund earlier billing cycles on add-ons. It may offer a self-service refund at the moment you cancel; if you accept it, access ends immediately instead of running out the current period.5Amazon. Cancel Your Prime Video Add-On Subscription
Cancel Through Roku
On your Roku, press the Home button, highlight the AMC+ app, and press the Star button on the remote. Select “Manage subscription,” then “Turn off auto-renew.”6Roku. Manage or cancel subscriptions on Roku

Cancel Through YouTube TV
If you added AMC+ as a YouTube TV add-on, go to tv.youtube.com/settings/subscriptions in a browser, find the add-on, and select “Cancel.” In the app, tap your profile icon, then “Settings,” then “Membership,” and cancel from there.7YouTube Help. Join, change, or cancel a membership
What Happens After You Cancel
On every platform, WE tv and AMC+ content stay available through the end of the billing period you already paid for. Cancellation stops the next renewal; it does not cut off access early. The exact end date shows up in your account settings or on the cancellation confirmation screen.
Keep the cancellation confirmation email. If a charge appears after your end date, that email is what you’ll use to dispute it with your bank or the platform’s support team. Check your statement one cycle after cancellation to make sure no new charges have posted.
Can You Get a Refund
Refund policy is set by the biller, not by AMC+. Apple accepts refund requests at reportaproblem.apple.com; choose “Request a refund,” select the charge, and expect a response in 24 to 48 hours. Pending charges cannot be refunded until they finish processing, and eligibility varies.8Apple Support.
