How to Cancel Your WalkFit Subscription and Get a Refund

To cancel your WalkFit subscription, go to the platform that processed your original payment: Apple for iPhone and iPad sign-ups, Google Play for Android, or the WalkFit website if you bought directly from walkfit.pro. The app itself has no cancel button that stops the charges. Deleting WalkFit from your phone does nothing to your billing either, which is the single most common mistake people make when they try to end the subscription.

Deleting the App Does Not Stop the Charges

Removing WalkFit from your phone leaves the billing agreement completely intact. Your next payment will process on schedule as if nothing happened. WalkFit’s own refund policy states this explicitly: uninstalling the app does not automatically cancel your subscription.1WalkFit. WalkFit Refund Policy You have to cancel through the subscription settings on whichever platform originally took your money, and you have to do it before the next billing date.

Find Out Which Platform Is Billing You

Check your bank or credit card statement for the merchant name. A line reading “Apple.com/bill” means the subscription runs through Apple. “GOOGLE*WalkFit” points to Google Play. If the charge shows “WalkFit” or “WalkFit.pro” directly, you signed up on the website.

Your email inbox is the other place to look. Apple and Google both send purchase receipts with an order ID and a link to manage the subscription. Have the account email and password ready before you start, because each billing system is separate from WalkFit’s own site.

Cancel on iPhone or iPad

If Apple handles your WalkFit charges, cancel from your device:

  • Open the Settings app
  • Tap your name at the top of the screen
  • Tap Subscriptions
  • Select WalkFit
  • Tap Cancel Subscription

Once you confirm, the subscription status switches from a renewal date to an expiration date. You keep the paid features until that expiration date passes.2Apple. If You Want to Cancel a Subscription From Apple If no Cancel button appears and you see an expiration message in red, the subscription has already been canceled.

Free trials come with a timing trap. Cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, or Apple converts it into a paid subscription automatically. After you cancel a trial, some apps let you keep the trial features until the period runs out and others cut access immediately.

Cancel on Android

For Google Play subscriptions, work through the Play Store app:

  • Open the Google Play Store
  • Tap your profile icon in the upper right
  • Go to Payments & subscriptions, then Subscriptions
  • Select WalkFit
  • Tap Cancel subscription and follow the prompts

As with Apple, you keep paid access through the end of the billing period you already paid for.3Google Play Help. Cancel, Pause, or Change a Subscription on Google Play

Pause Instead of Cancel

Google Play lets you pause some subscriptions for one week to three months rather than ending them. If WalkFit supports it, a “Pause payments” option appears under the subscription’s Manage menu. The pause starts at the end of your current billing period and you can resume anytime. If you know you are done paying, cancel outright instead.3Google Play Help. From a Computer

You don’t need your phone. Go to play.google.com in a browser, sign in with the same Google account, click your profile icon, and open Payments & subscriptions. The steps match the mobile ones.

Cancel a Website Subscription

If you bought WalkFit directly through the website, neither Apple nor Google can cancel it for you. WalkFit’s refund policy tells users to cancel through the app’s settings or through walk-fit.io by following the on-screen prompts.1WalkFit. WalkFit Refund Policy

If no cancellation option is visible, write to WalkFit’s support team using the contact form on the site. Give your full name, the email address on the account, and a clear statement that you want the subscription canceled. Save a copy of what you send. If you paid through PayPal, you can also cut off WalkFit from your end: in PayPal, go to Settings, then Payments, then Manage automatic payments, select the WalkFit agreement, and cancel it there.

Getting a Refund

Canceling stops future charges. Getting money back for a charge that already posted is a separate process with its own rules.

WalkFit’s own refund policy depends on what you were offered at signup and where you live. If a 30-day money-back guarantee was offered at your initial purchase, you can request a full refund within 30 days. California and Connecticut residents can cancel and get a refund within three business days of purchase. Residents of the EU, UK, or Switzerland have 14 days from the purchase date to withdraw for any reason. Renewal charges are not eligible for a refund under WalkFit’s policy.1WalkFit. For Apple-billed charges, go to reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in, tap “I’d like to,” choose “Request a refund,” pick a reason, select the WalkFit charge, and submit. Apple usually responds within 24 to 48 hours. A pending charge is not eligible yet; wait for the email receipt first.4Apple Support. Request a Refund for Apps or Content That You Bought From Apple

Google Play handles refunds by timing. Within 48 hours of the charge you may be able to get the refund directly from Google. After 48 hours, Google sends you to the app developer, who handles the request under their own policy.5Google Play Help. Apps, Games, and In-App Purchases (Including Subscriptions) Refund Policies To file, go to play.google.com, click your profile icon, then Payments & subscriptions, then Budget & order history, and click “Report a problem” next to the WalkFit line. Decisions usually arrive within one to four days.

If Charges Keep Coming After You Cancel

You have two ways to force the issue: your card issuer or your bank.

For credit card charges, federal law gives you 60 days from the date of the billing statement to dispute the charge in writing. The letter has to go to the billing inquiry address, not the payment address, and should include your name, account number, the date and amount of the charge, and a short explanation. Send it by certified mail with return receipt so you have proof. You can withhold payment on the disputed amount while the issuer investigates, but the rest of the bill still has to be paid on time.6Office of the Law Revision Counsel. 15 USC 1666 – Correction of Billing Errors

If WalkFit is pulling money straight from your bank account by electronic transfer, you can order the bank to stop future payments. Notify them at least three business days before the next scheduled transfer. The order can go in by phone or in writing, but if you call, the bank may require written confirmation within 14 days or the oral order expires.7Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. 12 CFR 1005.10 – Preauthorized Transfers Stop-payment orders typically run $25 to $35, so compare that against the charge you are trying to block.
