To cancel a TikFinity subscription, you first need to know where you signed up: directly on the TikFinity website or through Patreon. The cancel button lives in whichever place took your money, and clicking around the other one won’t stop the charges.
Figure Out Which Billing Path You’re On
Check your email for the original payment confirmation. If it came from Patreon, you subscribed through Patreon. If it came from Stripe, you subscribed directly on the TikFinity site, which uses Stripe to process payments.
You can also check inside the app. Log in and open the Setup section of the dashboard. It shows your Pro status and whether the account is linked to Patreon. If the page shows a “Connect Patreon” prompt rather than a direct subscription panel, your billing most likely runs through Patreon and you need to cancel there.
Cancel a Direct TikFinity Subscription
If you subscribed on the TikFinity website, go to the Setup page in your dashboard and find the subscription management area. It lists your current plan and renewal status, and includes a cancel option. TikFinity states that subscriptions “can be canceled at any time.”1TikFinity. Because the payments run through Stripe, you may also have a Stripe-hosted billing portal. Some merchants send a link to that portal in payment receipt emails, letting you manage or cancel without logging into the merchant’s site.2Stripe. Cancel Subscriptions – Section: Customer Portal Search your inbox for a Stripe receipt from TikFinity and look for a “Manage Subscription” or “Billing Portal” link. Stripe itself cannot cancel on your behalf; you have to use the merchant’s portal or contact TikFinity directly.
Cancel a Patreon-Linked Subscription
If you signed up through Patreon, the TikFinity dashboard cannot stop your billing. Log into Patreon, open your active memberships, find the TikFinity (zerody) membership, and choose to cancel or edit it. Patreon will walk you through a confirmation screen and may offer to pause the membership instead. Pick the full cancellation if you want charges to stop entirely.
Afterward, go back to the TikFinity Setup page and check that your Pro status reflects the change. The linked status may take a short time to update, or you may need to disconnect your Patreon account from the TikFinity settings.
Cancel Through PayPal If That’s Your Funding Source
If TikFinity or Patreon is pulling from PayPal, you can shut off future payments from the PayPal side. On the PayPal website, open Settings, click Payments, then select “Subscriptions and saved businesses” or “Automatic Payments.” Find TikFinity or Patreon in the list and cancel.3PayPal. Treat this as a backup, not a substitute. Stopping PayPal payments ends the money flow, but the merchant may still show your account as active, which can create confusion later. Cancel on the merchant side too whenever you can.
Stop Payment Through Your Bank as a Last Resort
If none of the above cooperates, federal law gives you one more lever. Under the Electronic Fund Transfer Act, you can stop a preauthorized electronic transfer by notifying your bank or credit union at least three business days before the next scheduled payment.4Office of the Law Revision Counsel. United States Code Title 15 – 1693e Preauthorized Transfers The request can be oral or in writing, though your bank may require written confirmation within 14 days of a phone call. Most banks charge a fee for a stop-payment order, often around $25 or more, so save this for when the normal routes have failed.
What Happens After You Cancel
Canceling does not turn off Pro features right away. Access usually continues through the end of the billing period you already paid for. Check the Setup page for status language like “Canceled” or a note about when Pro access ends. After that date, the account drops to the free tier, which still includes TikFinity’s core streaming tools such as sound alerts, chat overlays, and game integrations.5TikFinity. Getting a Refund
TikFinity will refund your most recent payment if you’re not satisfied with Pro, but the refund is not automatic. You have to ask. For features labeled “experimental,” TikFinity recommends requesting a trial version before buying, since refund handling for those features may differ.
