How to Cancel Your Simple Subscription on Any Device

To cancel a Simple subscription, go to the same place you signed up: your iPhone’s Settings for Apple-billed plans, the Google Play Store for Android, or the Simple app or website for direct purchases. Whichever route applies, do it at least 24 hours before your next renewal date, or you’ll be charged for another cycle.1Simple: Weight Loss & Health Coaching. FAQs for Simple Premium and Cancellation

Find Out Where You’re Billed

Open the Simple app, tap your profile icon, and look for “Manage Subscription.” The screen tells you whether billing runs through Apple, Google Play, or Simple directly. A bank or credit card statement works too; the merchant name on the charge usually reveals the platform.

This step isn’t optional. Canceling through the wrong platform does nothing. An Apple-billed subscription won’t cancel from Google Play settings, and a website purchase won’t cancel from either app store. Promotional links and ads generally route through Simple’s website rather than an app store.

Cancel on iPhone or iPad

If Apple handles your billing, cancel through your device settings:

  • Open the Settings app and tap your name at the top.
  • Tap Subscriptions.
  • Find and tap the Simple subscription.
  • Tap Cancel Subscription and confirm.

The App Store app gets you to the same screen: tap your profile picture, then Subscriptions.2Apple Support. If You Want to Cancel a Subscription from Apple

Cancel on Android

Google Play subscriptions cancel inside the Play Store:

  • Open the Google Play Store app.
  • Tap your profile icon, then Payments & subscriptions, then Subscriptions.
  • Select the Simple subscription.
  • Tap Cancel subscription and follow the prompts.

You can also start inside the Simple app. Tap the profile icon in the top right, scroll to “Manage subscription,” and tap it again on the next screen. The app sends you to Google Play, where you tap “Simple: AI Weight Loss and Health” and then “Cancel subscription.”3Google Play Help. Cancel, Pause, or Change a Subscription on Google Play

Cancel a Website Subscription

If you signed up through Simple’s website or an ad, you have two routes.

Through the Simple App

Open the app and tap the profile icon. Tap “Manage subscription,” then tap it again on the next screen. Enter the email address you used when you subscribed; Simple sends a verification code to confirm it’s you. Once verified, scroll to “Plan Management” and tap “Turn off auto-renewal.” Finish the short survey, and a confirmation screen appears.

Through the Website

Log into your account at Simple’s website and go to your profile or account settings. The subscription management section shows your plan and billing details. Follow the prompts to turn off auto-renewal and click through the final confirmation.

Commitment Plans Work Differently

Simple sells commitment plans of 3, 6, or 10 months at a lower monthly rate in exchange for paying the full period upfront. If “Commitment Plan” appears above your billing details in the app, you generally cannot cancel early.4Simple. Simple Terms of Use

These plans also can’t be paused. If you’re locked in and want out, email support@simple.app and explain the situation. There’s no guarantee of early release. When the commitment period ends, the plan converts to a regular auto-renewing subscription that cancels normally.

Pause Instead of Cancel

If you only need a break, Simple lets you pause for one or three months. The option is available once every six months, and only for subscriptions bought through the website or a promotional ad; app store subscriptions don’t qualify.5Simple: Weight Loss & Health Coaching. How to Pause Your Subscription

While paused, premium features are suspended and you aren’t charged. When the pause ends, your renewal date shifts forward by the length of the pause, so time you’ve already paid for isn’t lost. Apple and Google Play subscribers who want to pause have to contact Simple’s support team, since the in-app toggle doesn’t appear for them.

Getting a Refund

Canceling stops future charges. It does not automatically refund your most recent payment, and the refund path depends on who billed you.

For website purchases, email support@simple.app to request a refund form. Simple’s policy asks that you contact the company before initiating a chargeback with your bank.

For Apple subscriptions, use Apple’s “Report a Problem” page at reportaproblem.apple.com. Apple reviews refund requests case by case, and eligibility varies.6Apple Support. Request a Refund for Apps or Content That You Bought from Apple

For Google Play subscriptions, contacting Simple directly is often faster, because Google generally sends refund requests for third-party apps back to the developer.7Google Play Help. Learn About Google Play Refund Policies

If a charge appears after you’ve already canceled and you have proof, you can dispute it with your bank or credit card issuer. For credit card charges, federal law gives you 60 days from the statement date to file a written billing dispute. Debit card disputes fall under your bank’s error resolution process, and reporting quickly protects your rights.

What Happens After You Cancel

Premium features stay active through the end of the billing period you’ve already paid for. You don’t lose access the moment you cancel.4Simple. Simple Terms of Use

Watch for a confirmation email from whichever platform processed the cancellation, and save it. If a dispute comes up later, that email is your proof. Check your subscription status in the app or your device settings as well; it should show an expiration date rather than a next renewal date.

Keep an eye on your bank statement during the next billing cycle. If a charge appears after you have a confirmed cancellation, contact the billing platform first, then your bank if the platform doesn’t resolve it. Most post-cancellation charges clear up quickly once you send over the confirmation email.
