To cancel your ReelShort subscription, go to whichever platform is actually charging you — Apple, Google, Roku, Amazon, or the ReelShort website — because ReelShort doesn’t handle billing directly in most cases. Canceling inside the ReelShort app won’t stop the charges. The whole job takes about two minutes once you know where you signed up.
First, Find Out Who Is Billing You
Check your bank or credit card statement for the most recent ReelShort charge. The descriptor points you to the right place:
- APPLE.COM/BILL means you subscribed through the App Store. Cancel through Apple.
- GOOGLE *ReelShort means Google Play on an Android device. Cancel through Google.
- ROKU or Roku for ___ means a Roku device. Cancel through Roku.
- REELSHORTW or similar means you subscribed directly on the ReelShort website.
Still not sure? Search your email for “ReelShort” or “Crazy Maple Studio” (the parent company). The original purchase confirmation names the billing platform. Have your login credentials ready before you start.
Cancel on iPhone or iPad
If the charge came from Apple, cancel through your device settings, not inside the ReelShort app:
- Open Settings and tap your name at the top.
- Tap Subscriptions.
- Tap ReelShort in the list.
- Tap Cancel Subscription. You may need to scroll down.
If there’s no Cancel button and you instead see an expiration date in red, the subscription is already canceled.1Apple Support. If You Want to Cancel a Subscription from Apple You keep premium access until the end of the current billing period.

Cancel Through the ReelShort Website
If you subscribed at reelshort.com, log in, open your profile or account settings, and look for a billing or membership section. If You Are on a Free Trial
This is where most people get caught. You must cancel a free trial before it ends, or you’ll be billed for the first full cycle. Roku states this plainly: cancel free trials before they end to avoid recurring charges.3Roku Support. Manage or Cancel Subscriptions on Roku The same rule holds on every platform. Set a calendar reminder for at least a day before the trial expires. Canceling early doesn’t shorten the trial — you keep the remaining free days.
How to Get a Refund for a Charge You Already Paid
Canceling stops future charges. It doesn’t refund the ones already on your card. Refund requests go to whichever platform billed you.
Apple
Go to reportaproblem.apple.com and sign in with your Apple ID. Click I’d like to, choose Request a refund, pick a reason, and select the ReelShort charge. Apple reviews these case by case, with no guarantee, but accidental renewals and unauthorized charges are common approval scenarios.7Apple Support.
