To cancel a Recime subscription, go to whichever platform actually bills you: the App Store on iPhone or iPad, Google Play on Android, the Stripe customer portal if you subscribed on the Recime website, or PayPal if that’s your payment method. Find Out Who’s Charging You
Check the original purchase confirmation in your email before you do anything else. A confirmation from Apple means the App Store handles billing. One from Google means Google Play. One from Recime or Stripe means you subscribed on the website. Your card statement will show the same information as a descriptor: “APPLE.COM/BILL,” “GOOGLE*RECIME,” or “RECIME.”
Cancel on iPhone or iPad
If the subscription runs through the App Store:
- Open the Settings app.
- Tap your name at the top to open your Apple Account.
- Tap Subscriptions.
- Select Recime.
- Tap Cancel Subscription and confirm. You may need to scroll down to find the button.

Cancel on Android
Google Play subscriptions are managed in the Play Store, not the Recime app:
- Open the Google Play Store.
- Tap your profile icon, then Payments & subscriptions, then Subscriptions.
- Tap Recime.
- Tap Cancel subscription and follow the prompts. Google may ask for a reason.

Cancel a Website Subscription
Website signups run through Stripe. Open your original confirmation email from Recime or Stripe and click the “Manage my subscription” link. That opens a Stripe-hosted portal where you can cancel, update payment details, or view your plan. The same link appears inside the Recime app under settings. Cancel Through PayPal
If PayPal is your payment method, you can stop future charges from the PayPal side even if the merchant’s own cancel flow isn’t working:
- Sign in at paypal.com.
- Click the gear icon to open Settings.
- Go to Payments, then Automatic Payments or Subscriptions and saved businesses.
- Select Recime and click Cancel.

Canceling the Free Trial in Time
Recime offers a 7-day free trial of Recime Plus. It converts to a paid subscription automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before it ends.1ReciMe. How Do I Cancel My Subscription or Free Trial? A trial that starts on a Monday must be canceled by the previous Sunday of the following week. Apple applies the same 24-hour rule to any trial purchased through the App Store.2Apple Support. If You Want to Cancel a Subscription From Apple Use the platform-specific steps above. Canceling early does not shorten the trial; you keep access for the full seven days.
Getting a Refund If You Were Already Charged
For an App Store charge, go to reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in, choose “Request a refund,” pick a reason, and select the Recime charge. Apple usually responds within 48 hours, and eligibility varies.5Apple Support. Request a Refund for Apps or Content That You Bought From Apple
For Google Play, timing matters. Within 48 hours of the charge, Google may refund you directly. After that window, Google refers you back to the developer.6Google Play. Do You Lose Your Recipes?
No. Saved recipes stay in your account after cancellation. When the paid period ends, the account reverts to the free version and Recime Plus features such as unlimited imports go away, but every recipe you’ve already saved remains available.7ReciMe – Help & Support Center.
