To cancel a Personality subscription, use the same platform that took your payment: cancel on personality.co if you signed up there, through Apple’s Subscriptions settings if you subscribed on an iPhone or iPad, through Google Play if you’re on Android, or through PayPal if that’s how you were billed. Personality charges $39.95 every four weeks after a $1.95 seven-day trial, so timing matters.1Personality. Discover Yourself, Transform Your Life

One warning before you click: Personality states that canceling means you lose access to your data permanently.2Personality. Cancel Subscription That is not how most subscription services behave. If there are personality reports or results you want to keep, download or screenshot them first.

Cancel on iPhone or iPad
Personality cannot cancel an App Store subscription for you. Apple controls the billing, and you have to cancel inside Apple’s settings:
- Open Settings and tap your name at the top.
- Tap Subscriptions.
- Tap the Personality subscription.
- Tap Cancel Subscription and confirm.
Once the cancellation goes through, the subscription screen shows an expiration date instead of a renewal date. That’s your confirmation that no future charges will hit.3Apple Support. If You Want to Cancel a Subscription From Apple
Cancel on Android Through Google Play
Android subscriptions billed through Google Play work the same way: cancel through Google, not through the Personality app. The quickest route is to open the Google Play app, go to your subscriptions, select Personality, and tap Cancel subscription.
The longer route runs through your device Settings: tap Google, then Manage your Google Account, then Payments & subscriptions, then Manage subscriptions.4Google Play Help. Cancel, Pause, or Change a Subscription on Google Play

Canceling During the $1.95 Trial
The seven-day trial converts automatically into the $39.95 four-week subscription if you don’t cancel first.1Personality. Discover Yourself, Transform Your Life The transition is silent; no reminder email arrives to ask if you want to continue.
The FTC suggests setting a calendar reminder for a day or two before any free trial ends.6Federal Trade Commission. Getting In and Out of Free Trials, Auto-Renewals, and Negative Option Subscriptions With Apple and Google, there’s no penalty for canceling early: you keep access through the trial period regardless.
Save Proof That You Canceled
This is where people get burned. You cancel, assume it’s finished, then find another $39.95 charge four weeks later.
Screenshot the final confirmation screen the moment you cancel. Capture the date, the cancelled status, and any confirmation number. If a confirmation email arrives, keep it somewhere safe. If you cancel on the Personality website and no email arrives within a few hours, message their support and save that thread too.
For Apple and Google cancellations, go back into your subscription settings afterward and confirm the screen shows an expiration date rather than a renewal date. Screenshot that too. When a charge gets disputed later, the person with documentation wins.
Getting a Refund
Who to ask depends on who billed you.
Apple
Go to reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in, choose “I’d like to” and then “Request a refund.” Pick the reason, select the Personality charge, and submit. Personality Directly
If Personality billed your card, email their support with the email on your account, the date and amount of the charge, and any transaction ID from your receipt. Reach out quickly. Companies handle refund requests filed within days far more favorably than ones filed weeks later.
If They Keep Charging You
If Personality ignores your refund request or the charges keep coming after you canceled, dispute the charge with your card issuer. Under the Fair Credit Billing Act, you can dispute a billing error in writing within 60 days of the statement date showing the charge. The issuer must acknowledge the dispute within 30 days and resolve it within two billing cycles.9Office of the Law Revision Counsel. United States Code Title 15 – 1666 Correction of Billing Errors
Bring evidence: the cancellation screenshot, any emails you sent asking for a refund, and statements showing the charges continued. Without documentation the dispute becomes your word against the merchant’s.
A separate note if you feel the cancellation itself was made deliberately hard: the Restore Online Shoppers’ Confidence Act requires online sellers using automatic renewals to provide simple mechanisms to stop recurring charges,10Office of the Law Revision Counsel. One boundary worth naming: canceling your subscription is not the same as deleting your account or your data. App store cancellations cut off the billing relationship with the store and don’t typically trigger data deletion on the app’s side. Personality’s website cancellation, by its own warning, does erase your access to your data.2Personality. Cancel Subscription Pick the path that matches what you actually want.
