To cancel a Julius AI subscription, log in and go to julius.ai/settings/subscription, then click “Cancel plan.” That works if you subscribed on the website. If you signed up through the Apple App Store or Google Play, canceling on the Julius site does nothing — you have to cancel through Apple or Google. That one distinction causes most of the surprise charges people run into.
Cancel on the Julius AI Website
Log in and open julius.ai/settings/subscription. Your current plan appears there along with a “Cancel plan” button.1Julius. The portal asks why you’re leaving before it unlocks the final confirm button. Click through the prompts, then wait for the page to reload and show your subscription status as canceled. If you close the window before that status updates, the cancellation doesn’t register and you’ll be billed again at renewal.

If You Subscribed Through Apple or Google Play
Subscriptions started inside an iPhone or Android app are billed by Apple or Google, not Julius. All plan changes — upgrades, downgrades, and cancellations — happen on those platforms.3Julius. Managing Your Plan Canceling on julius.ai will not stop App Store or Play Store charges.
Apple App Store
On your iPhone, open Settings, tap your name, then tap Subscriptions. Find Julius AI, tap it, and tap Cancel Subscription.4Apple Support. If You Want to Cancel a Subscription From Apple You can also do this at account.apple.com. If there’s no cancel button, or you see an expiration date shown in red, it’s already canceled.
Google Play Store
Open the Google Play Store app, tap your profile icon, and open Subscriptions. Select Julius AI and tap Cancel. Google recommends canceling at least 48 hours before your renewal date so the cancellation processes in time.
Cancel by Email
If the portal won’t load or you can’t get into your account, email team@julius.ai from the address tied to your Julius AI account.1Julius. Your Self-Serve Billing Page Use a subject line like “Subscription Cancellation Request” and include your full name and the date of your last charge so support can find the account. Save the confirmation reply; it’s your proof if a charge shows up later.
Downgrade Instead of Canceling
If you want to keep basic access without paying, downgrade to the free plan rather than canceling. On the subscription page, click “Downgrade” under the free plan and confirm.3Julius. Managing Your Plan The change takes effect at the end of your current billing period, so paid features stay available until then. Any unused portion of what you’ve already paid is applied as a credit toward future invoices, not refunded as cash.
Refunds
Refunds are not automatic. Julius reviews requests case by case, and you have to ask by emailing team@julius.ai or using the support widget on the site.5Julius. Refund Policy Credits of any kind — paid, free-plan, or promotional — are non-refundable and have no cash value.
Julius may deny refunds for misuse, terms-of-service violations, or what it considers bad-faith requests. If you file a chargeback with your bank instead of going through Julius, any credits tied to that payment are revoked immediately.5Julius. Refund Policy When you’re eligible for an immediate end to your subscription with a refund, that option appears on the self-serve billing page as you start the cancellation.1Julius. What Happens After You Cancel
Your paid plan stays active until the end of the billing period you already paid for. You won’t be charged again, and you can keep using paid features and credits until that period ends.3Julius. Managing Your Plan Once it does, any remaining credits are forfeited. They don’t carry over and they don’t roll into a free account.5Julius. Refund Policy
After that date, the account drops to free-tier access with reduced features and message limits. Export any visualizations, files, or data you want to keep before the billing period ends.
Deleting Your Account Is Separate
Canceling stops the billing. It does not delete your account or your data. If you want everything removed, go to julius.ai/settings/account and click “Delete Account Forever.” That wipes your files, chats, and notebooks with no way to recover them.
