How to Cancel Your Jobescape Subscription: Refunds and 24-Hour Rule

To cancel a Jobescape subscription, sign in at jobescape.me, open Account, go to Plan Management, and turn off auto-renewal. The catch that costs people money: Jobescape bills your card 24 hours before the current period ends, so cancel before that window or you’ll pay for another cycle.1Jobescape. Subscription Terms If you subscribed through PayPal, Apple, or Google Play, cancellation runs through those platforms, not through Jobescape.

Cancel From the Jobescape Dashboard

Use this path if you paid Jobescape directly with a credit or debit card on the website.

  • Log in at jobescape.me and click the icon on the Menu page.
  • Click Account.
  • Open Plan Management.
  • Click Turn off auto-renewal.
  • Confirm by clicking Cancel my Jobescape subscription and lose my progress.

The confirmation button sounds alarming. It refers to the fact that saved course progress and learning plan data may be removed after your access ends, not to anything happening immediately. You keep full access for the rest of the period you’ve already paid for.2Jobescape Help Center. Cancellation

One thing to be clear on: deleting the app from your phone does not cancel anything. The billing agreement sits with the payment processor. You have to go through the dashboard steps or contact support.1Jobescape. Subscription Terms

Uninstalling the app doesn’t stop billing here either. And if you’re on a payment plan, canceling stops future renewals but you still owe any remaining installments on the current plan.

Watch the 24-Hour Cutoff

Jobescape processes renewal charges 24 hours before your current billing period ends. Cancel after that window and you’ve been billed for the next cycle already.1Jobescape. What Happens After You Cancel

Download or screenshot anything you want to keep, such as course certificates and any templates you built, before your access ends.

Getting a Refund Is Difficult

Jobescape’s refund rules are strict. For most users outside the EU, charges are non-refundable unless required by law. The company does not refund for personal or financial reasons, partially used periods, or not liking the service.6Jobescape. How to Get a Refund for Your Jobescape Subscription

There is one narrow performance-based refund. It requires that you completed every course in your personal learning plan, followed the plan for at least 28 consecutive days within your first 31 days after purchase, did not land a freelance client within three months of finishing the courses, can prove you actively applied for freelance work in that period, and submit the request within 31 days after the three-month window closes. Requests go to support@jobescape.me or the live messenger. Approved refunds return to the original payment method within 5 to 10 days.6Jobescape. How to Get a Refund for Your Jobescape Subscription

EU residents have a separate 14-day right of withdrawal from the subscription start date, but only if you did not consent to immediate access to digital content at signup. Most checkout flows ask you to consent, which waives that right.6Jobescape. How to Get a Refund for Your Jobescape Subscription

If You Were Charged After Canceling

If billing continued after you canceled, you have options outside the platform’s refund policy. For credit card payments, federal law gives you 60 days from the date the first bill containing the error was sent to dispute the charge in writing with your card issuer. During the investigation, you can withhold payment on the disputed amount, and the issuer can’t report you as delinquent or take collection action on it.7Federal Trade Commission. Using Credit Cards and Disputing Charges

Write to the address your card issuer designates for billing inquiries, not the payment address. Include your name, account number, and a description of the charge. Sending the letter certified with return receipt gives you proof of delivery. Federal law caps your liability for unauthorized charges at $50. Keep your cancellation confirmation email and any screenshots from the cancellation flow as evidence.

If the Cancel Option Isn’t There

If Plan Management doesn’t show a cancellation option or something breaks, email support@jobescape.me or use the live messenger inside the platform.2Jobescape Help Center. Cancellation Give them the email tied to your account and a clear request to cancel. Save the email thread or messenger transcript. That record is what backs you up if a billing dispute comes up later.
