How to Cancel Your Jifu Membership and Get a Refund

To cancel a Jifu membership, send a written cancellation request by email to memberservices@jifu.com. That is the method Jifu’s own policy requires, and there is no in-portal cancel button or web form despite what some third-party guides suggest.1JIFU. JIFU Product Returns and Cancellations Policy Older Jifu documents list memberservices@jifutravel.com; the current address, published in October 2024, is the one above.

Jifu publishes a member services phone line at 1-888-899-5438, option 2, but the policy specifies written notice for cancellations. A call alone likely will not close the account. If you call, follow up in writing so you have documentation.

What to Put in the Email

Keep it short and unambiguous. Include:

  • Your full legal name as it appears on the account.
  • Your registered email address, and send the message from that address if you can. It helps member services verify you.
  • Your Jifu Member ID from your account profile. This avoids delays if more than one account shares your name.
  • A direct statement, such as “I am requesting immediate cancellation of my Jifu membership.”

Save the sent email or screenshot it. That record is what you’ll rely on if a billing dispute comes up later.

When to Send It

Jifu does not publish a specific advance-notice deadline. Member services runs Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Mountain Standard Time, out of Salt Lake City.2JIFU. Contact A request sent Friday night or over a weekend won’t be reviewed until the next business day.

Send the email comfortably ahead of your next billing date. Jifu’s policy says once cancellation is processed you won’t be charged the following month, but it does not promise to reverse a charge already triggered.1JIFU. JIFU Product Returns and Cancellations Policy

What Happens After You Send It

Once Jifu processes the request, you keep access to the travel portal and member perks through the end of your current paid month.1JIFU. JIFU Product Returns and Cancellations Policy After that, your login stops working and the account closes. Unused travel credits and benefits do not carry over.

Member services will send written confirmation once the cancellation has been processed.3JIFU. JIFU Cancellation and Refund Policies The policy doesn’t state exactly how long that takes, but refund-eligible requests are processed within ten business days, which gives a rough sense of the timeline. If two weeks pass with no confirmation, follow up.

Refund Eligibility

Most cancellations do not come with a refund. The exception is a narrow new-member window: if you cancel within seven days of being charged for digital services, you can get a full refund minus the $30 enrollment fee. For physical products, the window is fourteen days from the charge. If you bought both, the shorter window governs the digital portion and the longer window governs the physical portion.1JIFU. After that seven-day window closes, recovering monthly dues under Jifu’s standard terms is very unlikely. The policy also limits recovery to the most recent charge, so you should not expect to recoup several months of fees even if you forgot the subscription was active. Approved refunds are processed within ten business days.3JIFU. JIFU Cancellation and Refund Policies Jifu says it will honor a longer refund period where local law requires one.4JIFU. Don’t Start With a Chargeback

If a charge posts after you believe you canceled, the reflex is to dispute it with your card. Read Jifu’s rule first. The policy imposes a $30 processing fee on all unreturned chargebacks, and if the disputed funds are not returned within seven business days Jifu will cancel the account and may report the balance.3JIFU. Email member services first, wait for a written response, and only escalate to a card dispute if Jifu ignores you or keeps billing after confirming cancellation.

If Jifu Keeps Charging You

If you sent the cancellation email, followed up, and Jifu still processes another payment, you have recourse. Federal law requires online sellers of subscriptions to provide a simple way to stop recurring charges, and a company that makes cancellation unreasonably difficult may be violating the Restore Online Shoppers’ Confidence Act.5Office of the Law Revision Counsel. 15 USC 8403 – Negative Option Marketing on the Internet

You can dispute the charge with your card issuer under the Fair Credit Billing Act. Send a written dispute to the card company’s billing inquiry address within sixty days of the statement showing the charge. The issuer must acknowledge the dispute within thirty days and resolve it within ninety.6Federal Trade Commission. Using Credit Cards and Disputing Charges Your original cancellation email and any Jifu confirmation strengthen the dispute. Small claims court is available for amounts too large to ignore but too small for a lawyer.

If You’re an Affiliate

If you joined Jifu as a member affiliate earning commissions on referrals, canceling ends that income. Jifu’s terms state that if the account is canceled or terminated for any reason, you permanently lose all rights as a member or member affiliate, including downline commissions, rank, and bonuses.7JIFU. JIFU Terms and Conditions The policy does not describe a pause or grace period. If you rejoin later, you start from zero.
