How to Cancel Your iQIYI Subscription on Apple, Google Play, or Roku

To cancel your iQIYI subscription, turn off auto-renewal at least 24 hours before your next billing date through whichever service actually charges you.1iQIYI. How to Cancel the Automatic Renewal If you signed up on iq.com, you cancel on iq.com. If you signed up through Apple, Google Play, Roku, or Amazon, you have to cancel through that platform, because iQIYI itself can’t stop those charges. Once auto-renewal is off, your VIP access continues until the end of the period you already paid for.

Check Your Bank Statement First

Before you click anything, look at the merchant name on the iQIYI charge in your bank or credit card statement. That name tells you where the subscription actually lives.

  • “APPLE.COM/BILL” means the subscription runs through Apple.
  • “GOOGLE*iQIYI” or similar means Google Play.
  • “Roku” in the descriptor points to a Roku-managed subscription.
  • “AMZN” suggests Amazon.
  • “iQIYI” directly means you subscribed on the website or app with a credit card or PayPal, and you cancel through iQIYI.

This step matters because canceling in the wrong place does nothing. People routinely turn off auto-renewal inside the iQIYI app, assume they’re done, and get charged again the next month because the billing actually flows through Apple or Google.

Cancel Directly Through iQIYI

Use these steps only if the charge on your statement says “iQIYI.”

On the website:

  • Sign in at iq.com with the account tied to your membership.
  • Click your profile picture in the upper-right corner and select “My Account.”
  • Scroll to the “Manage Subscription” section on the right and click “Change.”
  • Follow the prompt to disable automatic renewal and confirm.

When it worked, the page shows an expiration date instead of a renewal date.2iQIYI. How Do I Cancel Auto-Renewal

In the mobile app:

If the app pushes you into Apple’s or Google’s subscription screen, that’s the app confirming your billing runs through the app store. Follow the platform steps below.

Cancel Through Apple

Any subscription bought through the App Store is controlled entirely by Apple, and iQIYI cannot cancel it for you.

  • Open Settings on your iPhone or iPad.
  • Tap your name at the top.
  • Tap Subscriptions.
  • Tap the iQIYI subscription.
  • Tap Cancel Subscription. If there’s no cancel button or you see a red expiration message, it’s already canceled.4Apple. If You Want to Cancel a Subscription From Apple

The App Store app has the same option: tap your profile icon, then Subscriptions.

Cancel Through Google Play

Canceling inside the iQIYI app will not stop a Google Play subscription. Go through Google.

Cancel Through Roku

If your statement shows “Roku” or “Roku for iQIYI,” your subscription is managed through your Roku account.

On the web, go to my.roku.com/subscriptions, find iQIYI, select “Manage subscription,” then “Turn off auto-renew.” On the device, press Home on your remote, highlight the iQIYI app, press the Star button, choose “Manage subscription,” then “Turn off auto-renew.”6Roku Support. Manage or Cancel Subscriptions on Roku

If iQIYI isn’t listed on the Roku subscriptions page, your billing runs through a different platform.

Cancel Through Amazon

Subscriptions bought through Amazon Fire TV or the Amazon Appstore are billed by Amazon.

  • Go to amazon.com/yourmembershipsandsubscriptions.
  • Find the iQIYI subscription.
  • Click Manage Subscription.
  • Under Advanced Controls, click Cancel Subscription.7Amazon. Manage Amazon Subscriptions

Confirm the Cancellation Went Through

Tapping the button isn’t the same as being done. Check three things:

  • A confirmation email from the platform. Save it.
  • Your account or subscription screen showing an expiration date rather than a renewal date. That confirms auto-renewal is off.2iQIYI. How Do I Cancel Auto-Renewal
  • Your bank statement through one more billing cycle. If a charge lands after cancellation, you have documentation to dispute it.

One trap: iQIYI has multiple tiers, including Standard VIP and Premium VIP. Canceling the higher tier sometimes downgrades you to the lower one rather than stopping all charges. Make sure every active plan is off, not just the top one.

Refunds and Late Charges

iQIYI generally doesn’t refund the current billing period, and unused days won’t be prorated. You keep VIP access to the end of what you paid for, but no money comes back for the remaining time.

If you subscribed through Apple or Google Play, you can request a refund from them directly. Apple handles requests at reportaproblem.apple.com, and Google Play has a refund option in your order history. Both platforms apply their own refund policies and sometimes approve refunds iQIYI would decline.

For a charge that hits after you canceled, gather your confirmation email and a screenshot of your account status, then email iQIYI at support@iqiyi.com with your account email, the charge date, the amount, and any transaction ID. Response times typically run two to five business days. If that goes nowhere, dispute the charge with your bank or card issuer.

When You Can’t Find a Cancel Button

If you log into iQIYI and there’s no “Manage Subscription” option or cancel toggle, your billing almost certainly runs through a third-party platform. iQIYI’s app only shows subscription controls for people who paid iQIYI directly. Anyone subscribed through Apple, Google, Roku, or Amazon simply won’t see the option.

If you’re sure you paid iQIYI directly and still can’t find the toggle, submit feedback in the app (“Me” then “Feedback”) or on the website (“Support & Help” then “Feedback”), and attach a screenshot of the charge from your bank statement so support can locate your subscription.1iQIYI. How to Cancel the Automatic Renewal While you wait, remove your saved payment method from your iQIYI account so no further charges can process.

Canceling Is Not the Same as Deleting Your Account

Turning off auto-renewal stops future charges but leaves your account intact. Your watch history, favorites, and remaining VIP access stay until the paid period expires, after which the account reverts to free.

Deleting the account is separate, and it does not guarantee your subscription stops. If billing flows through Apple, Google, Roku, or Amazon, those platforms have no way of knowing you deleted your iQIYI account, and the recurring charge keeps going. Cancel the subscription first, confirm it stopped, and only then delete the account if you want your data gone too.
