How to Cancel Your Finelo Subscription and Get a Refund

To cancel a Finelo subscription, use the same platform you signed up on: Finelo’s website, the Apple App Store, or Google Play. Canceling in the wrong place is the most common reason charges keep appearing after someone thinks they’ve stopped the subscription, because Finelo can’t shut off billing that runs through Apple or Google, and Apple and Google can’t shut off billing that runs through Finelo’s site.

First, Figure Out Where You Subscribed

Pull up your bank or card statement and look at how the charge is labeled. Finelo’s own charges appear under names like “finelo.com,” “fineloapp,” “fnlo.app,” “vfineloio,” “finelo.app^Dover,” or “finelo.com^Limassol.”1Finelo Support. Bank Charge – What Is This Transaction? If the descriptor instead reads as an Apple or Google transaction, you subscribed through an app store and need to cancel there.

Cancel Through Finelo’s Website

If you signed up on finelo.com, cancel from inside your account:

  • Log in to your Finelo account.
  • Open your Finelo Profile and tap the Settings icon.
  • Select Subscription, then tap Cancel Subscription.

One wrinkle catches people out. If you subscribed on the website but later installed the app, you still cancel through the web flow above. Finelo will send you to the web app page, where you log in again and cancel in Settings. You should get a confirmation email or on-screen message, and access continues until the current subscription period ends.2Finelo Support Center. How Do I Unsubscribe?

Cancel Through Apple on iPhone or iPad

If you subscribed in the App Store, Apple controls the billing. Cancel from your device:

  • Open the Settings app.
  • Tap your name at the top of the screen.
  • Tap Subscriptions.
  • Find and tap the Finelo subscription.
  • Tap Cancel Subscription. Scroll down if you don’t see the button.

If there’s no Cancel button and you see an expiration message in red, the subscription is already canceled.3Apple Support. If You Want to Cancel a Subscription From Apple You can reach the same screen from the App Store by tapping your profile icon and selecting Subscriptions.4Apple Support. Cancel Through Google Play on Android

If your charge comes through Google Play:

  • On your Android device, go to Subscriptions in Google Play.
  • Select the Finelo subscription.
  • Tap Cancel Subscription and confirm.

After you confirm, the status should show a cancellation date rather than a renewal date.5Google Play. Cancel, Pause, or Change a Subscription on Google Play

Confirm the Cancellation Went Through

Tapping the button isn’t proof. Check your inbox for a confirmation email from Finelo, Apple, or Google, and make sure it lists the date your access expires. Then go back to the subscription screen on whichever platform you used and confirm the status now shows “canceled” or an expiration date instead of a renewal date. Take a screenshot. If a charge appears later and you have to dispute it, a screenshot beats a memory.

Worth knowing: Finelo doesn’t offer a pause option, so if you only want a break, you’ll need to cancel and resubscribe later.6Finelo Support. Can I Pause My Subscription if I’m Not Using the App?

Getting a Refund

Canceling stops future charges. It doesn’t automatically refund the last one. Finelo generally doesn’t refund digital subscriptions once they’ve been delivered and evaluates requests individually based on its policies and applicable law.7Finelo Support Center. How Can I Apply for a Refund?

EU residents have stronger footing: you can withdraw from a digital purchase within 14 days of the initial purchase date, after which the withdrawal right no longer applies.8Finelo Support Center. What Is Your Refund Policy? If you’re inside that window, email support@finelo.com right away, because cancellation and a refund are separate requests.9Finelo Support Center. How Can I Report a Problem or Bug in the App? Include your account email, the charge date, and a screenshot of the transaction. Finelo doesn’t publish a support phone number, so written contact is the only route, which works in your favor since it creates a timestamped record.

If Charges Keep Coming After You Cancel

Contact Finelo support again first with your cancellation screenshot. If that fails, use your card’s dispute process.

For credit cards, federal law lets you dispute billing errors in writing within 60 days of the statement date. Your card issuer must acknowledge the dispute within 30 days and resolve it within two billing cycles.10Office of the Law Revision Counsel. 15 USC 1666 – Correction of Billing Errors The CFPB recommends a written notice that identifies your account, describes the error, and explains why the charge is wrong.11Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. For debit cards, you can ask your bank for a stop payment, though most banks charge between $20 and $35. A chargeback is another option, but treat it as a last resort. Merchants sometimes block accounts that file chargebacks, which can shut the door on resubscribing later.
