How to Cancel Your EOS Membership: 30-Day Notice, Fees, and Exceptions

To cancel your EōS Fitness membership, submit a cancellation request through the MyiClubOnline member portal, in person at your home gym, by phone at 1-866-992-8958, or by email to customercare@abcfitness.com. Memberships run month to month and require 30 days’ notice, so you’ll be billed one final time on your regular billing date and keep gym access through that period. There’s no cancellation fee for a standard membership, but your account has to be current before EōS will process the request.

Where to Send the Request

Any of these four channels works:

  • The MyiClubOnline (MICO) portal, under “My Agreements.” Pick the agreement and cancel it there.
  • In person at your home EōS location.
  • By phone at 1-866-992-8958.
  • By email to customercare@abcfitness.com.

The online portal is the fastest route because it produces an immediate on-screen confirmation you can save. If you cancel by phone or in person, ask for written or emailed confirmation before you finish. For email, keep your sent message and any reply.

The 30-Day Notice and Your Last Charge

Once EōS receives your notice, expect one more bill on your regular billing date covering the final 30 days, and use the gym during that window if you want.1EōS Fitness. Gym FAQs – Frequently Asked Questions Standard memberships carry no cancellation fee.

Your account must be in good standing. If there’s a past-due balance, settle it first; otherwise the cancellation sits unprocessed while charges keep accruing.

New Member? You Have Five Business Days

If you just joined, you can cancel for a full refund within five business days of enrollment, not counting Sundays and holidays. Send a signed, dated notice to memberservices@eosfitness.com, by first-class mail to 5005 LBJ Freeway, Suite 1150, Dallas, TX 75244, or deliver it in person to that address.2EōS Fitness. Agreement Terms If you signed up before your gym opened, the five days start when the doors actually open.

Watch the $59.99 Annual Fee

EōS bills a $59.99 annual membership fee on a set date each year, and it can apply to any membership type.3EōS Fitness. Gym Memberships – Options and Pricing If that date falls inside your 30-day notice period, you’ll still owe it.1EōS Fitness. Gym FAQs – Frequently Asked Questions If your annual fee is coming up, timing your notice so it lands before that billing date saves $60.

Personal Training Agreements Block a Cancellation

If you have an active personal training agreement, you can’t cancel the underlying gym membership until the training contract is resolved. Personal training is a separate multi-month commitment with its own terms.1EōS Fitness. Gym FAQs – Frequently Asked Questions

Two standard options: pay off the remaining balance in full and then submit your 30-day membership notice, or wait for the training agreement to run out and cancel after.

Three situations let you end a personal training agreement without paying the remaining balance, each with documentation:

  • Military orders. Cancellation is immediate on presenting your orders.
  • Relocation. Cancel with 30 days’ notice and proof of the move.
  • Medical reasons verified by a medical professional. Cancellation is immediate.

Handle personal training cancellations at your home gym in person, since they typically can’t be processed through the portal.1EōS Fitness. Gym FAQs – Frequently Asked Questions

Moving More Than 25 Miles Away

If you move more than 25 miles from your club and from any affiliated EōS location offering the same services, you can cancel without owing anything beyond what you’ve used. Send a signed, dated notice with proof of your new address by first-class mail to 5005 LBJ Freeway, Suite 1150, Dallas, TX 75244, or by email from an address on file to memberservices@eosfitness.com. Prepaid amounts for services you haven’t used are refunded.2EōS Fitness. Agreement Terms

EōS has been opening new locations, so check for gyms near your new address before you file. A newer club within 25 miles can void the exception.

Military Orders Under the SCRA

Active-duty servicemembers with orders to relocate for 90 days or more to a location that doesn’t support the membership can terminate immediately under the Servicemembers Civil Relief Act. No early termination fee is allowed. Deliver a written or electronic notice with a copy of the orders. The protection also covers a servicemember’s spouse or dependent when they hold the contract, and any prepaid amounts must be refunded within 60 days.4Office of the Law Revision Counsel. 50 USC 3956 – Termination of Certain Consumer Contracts

Freezing Instead of Canceling

If you’re on the fence, EōS lets you freeze for up to three months at a time for $5 a month, capped at six frozen months per year. You lose gym access during the freeze, but your terms stay locked. The $59.99 annual fee still bills during a freeze and can’t be deferred.1EōS Fitness. Gym FAQs – Frequently Asked Questions If your annual fee lands inside a planned freeze, canceling and re-enrolling later may cost less.

Confirm It and Watch Your Statements

Wait for a formal confirmation that names your effective end date and says no further charges will post. Screenshot the portal confirmation, or hold on to the email thread. Then check your bank or card statements for the next cycle or two. The only charge that should appear is the final 30-day payment. Anything else, call 1-866-992-8958 with your confirmation on hand.

Don’t try to end the membership by closing your bank account or disputing the charge with your card issuer. Without an actual cancellation notice on file, the contract stays open, dues keep accruing, and the balance can be sent to collections and reported to the credit bureaus. Even a small collections mark carries weight with lenders, so the written confirmation is what actually protects you.
