To cancel a Dressly subscription, use the same channel that bills you: cancel inside the Dressly app or email help@dressly.world if Dressly charges you directly, cancel through Subscriptions in the Apple App Store if Apple bills you, or cancel through Subscriptions in Google Play if Google bills you. Canceling in the wrong place will not stop the charges. Whichever route applies, canceling before your current one-, three-, or six-month period ends prevents the next renewal, and you keep access through the time you already paid for.
First, Figure Out Who Is Actually Billing You
This is the step most people skip, and it’s why cancellations fail. If you subscribed through the Apple App Store or Google Play, canceling on Dressly’s website or emailing their support team will not stop the charges. Apple and Google control the billing in those cases, and only they can turn it off. Dressly’s own site says that if your subscription was purchased through the App Store or Google Play, you need to cancel directly through that store.
Open your original purchase confirmation email, or look at your bank or card statement. If the charge comes from Apple or Google, use the store instructions below. If it comes from Dressly directly, use the app or email route.
Canceling When Dressly Bills You Directly
If you subscribed through the Dressly app itself, open the app and look for account or subscription settings. There should be an option to manage or cancel your plan. Work through the confirmation screens until you see a final screen confirming the cancellation went through, and take a screenshot of it.
If you subscribed on dressly.world, or if you can’t find the cancel option inside the app, email help@dressly.world. Include the email address tied to your account and a direct request, such as “Please cancel my Dressly subscription effective immediately and confirm cancellation by reply email.” You don’t need to give a reason. Ask for a confirmation email or reference number in the same message, and if you don’t hear back within a couple of business days, follow up. That paper trail matters if a billing dispute comes up later.
Canceling Through the Apple App Store
On an iPhone or iPad, open Settings, tap your name at the top, then tap Subscriptions. Find Dressly in the list, tap it, and tap Cancel Subscription. You may need to scroll to see the cancel button. If a message in red text says the subscription already expired, it’s already canceled. You can also manage subscriptions at account.apple.com from any browser.
One timing detail catches people out: if you’re on a free trial through Apple, cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends to avoid being charged for the first paid period.
Canceling Through Google Play
Open the Play Store app on your Android device, tap your profile icon, and go to Subscriptions. Select Dressly and tap Cancel. Google recommends canceling at least 48 hours before your renewal date to make sure the next charge doesn’t process.
Refunds and the Money-Back Guarantee
Dressly does not charge early termination fees, but you are responsible for the subscription fees through your current billing period. Cancel midway through a three-month plan and you won’t get a prorated refund for the unused portion, though you also won’t be charged for the next period.
Dressly offers a money-back guarantee with specific conditions. You have to contact support within 30 days of your initial purchase and before your subscription period ends, and you have to show you actually used the service for at least seven consecutive days. After the 30-day window closes, fees are generally non-refundable, though Dressly says it may consider refund requests case by case at its discretion.
Access continues until the end of the period you already paid for. Once that period expires, the subscription terminates and no new charges should appear. Check your statement about a week after the date the next charge would have fallen. Save your cancellation confirmation or screenshot for at least 60 days, because that window matters for the dispute rights below.
If Charges Keep Coming After You Cancel
If a charge from Dressly or the app store appears after your cancellation date, start by sending your cancellation confirmation to whoever billed you (Dressly support, Apple, or Google) and asking for a reversal. Most post-cancellation charges are timing issues where a renewal cycle triggered slightly before the cancellation processed.
If the company won’t resolve it, dispute the charge with your bank or card issuer. For credit card charges, federal law caps your liability for unauthorized charges at $50, and you have 60 days from the date the bill containing the error was sent to submit a written dispute to your card issuer. During the investigation, you can withhold payment on the disputed amount without being reported as delinquent or facing collection.
For charges drawn directly from a bank account, you can revoke authorization for a company to take automatic payments. The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau recommends a two-step process: tell the company in writing that you’re revoking permission for automatic debits, then notify your bank or credit union separately and request a stop payment order on future charges from that company. Once you’ve revoked authorization, any further debits the company initiates are treated as errors, and your bank should refund them.1Consumer Financial Protection Bureau.
