To cancel a Booksy subscription, email the support team at info.us@booksy.com from the email address tied to your Booksy Biz account and ask them to stop future charges. That path only works if you signed up directly through Booksy’s website or app. If you subscribed through the Apple App Store or Google Play, Booksy cannot stop those charges, and you have to cancel through the app store that handles your billing. The Booksy Biz plan runs $29.99 per month plus $20 for each additional team member, so timing the cancellation before your next billing date matters.
First, Confirm How You Subscribed
Only the account owner can cancel. Staff accounts and employees with limited permissions can’t reach the billing settings or submit a cancellation. If you’re unsure, check your profile settings or ask whoever originally set up the business account.
Then figure out where the charge actually comes from. A subscription started on Booksy’s website with a credit card is canceled through Booksy support. A subscription started inside the iPhone app is usually billed by Apple, and one started on an Android device through Google Play is billed by Google. Those two platforms control their own billing, and Booksy has no way to switch them off from its side. The free client-facing Booksy app that customers use to book appointments has no subscription fee attached, so clients themselves never need to cancel anything.

Whichever channel you use, save the confirmation. A screenshot of the chat or the email reply from Booksy is what you’ll need if a charge shows up after cancellation and you have to dispute it.
Canceling Through the Apple App Store
If your subscription came through the App Store, cancel from your iPhone settings.3Booksy Biz Help Center. How Do I Manage My Booksy Subscription Payments
- Open the Settings app on your iPhone.
- Tap your name at the top of the screen.
- Tap Subscriptions.
- Find and tap Booksy in the list.
- Tap Cancel Subscription. If you don’t see a cancel button and instead see an expiry message in red, the subscription is already canceled.4Apple Support. If You Want to Cancel a Subscription From Apple
Deleting the Booksy app from your phone does not cancel the subscription. Apple will keep charging your payment method on the normal billing cycle until you go through these steps. This is the most common mistake people make, and it leads to months of charges for an app that isn’t even on the device anymore.
Canceling Through Google Play
Android users who subscribed through Google Play cancel through the Play Store.
- Open the Google Play Store app.
- Tap your profile icon in the top right.
- Tap Payments & subscriptions.
- Find Booksy and tap to open the subscription details.
- Tap Cancel subscription and follow the prompts.
Cancel at least 48 hours before the renewal date to avoid being charged for another cycle. Uninstalling the app doesn’t stop billing here either.
Getting a Refund If You Were Already Charged
If a renewal slipped through, you can request a refund from wherever the charge was processed.
Apple App Store
Sign in to reportaproblem.apple.com, tap “I’d like to,” then choose “Request a refund.” Pick a reason, select the Booksy charge, and submit. Apple typically responds within 24 to 48 hours.5Apple Support. Request a Refund for Apps or Content That You Bought From Apple Pending charges can’t be refunded; wait until the charge fully processes and you have the email receipt.
Google Play
Go to play.google.com, click your profile picture, then Payments & subscriptions, then Budget & order history. Find the Booksy charge, click “Report a problem,” pick the option that fits, and submit. Google usually decides within one to four days.6Google Play. Request a Refund on Google Play
Direct Booksy Billing
For subscriptions billed by Booksy itself rather than through an app store, contact support by email or live chat and ask about a billing adjustment. Booksy’s stated policy is “no commitment, cancel anytime,” but refunds for partial billing periods aren’t guaranteed and depend on the specific situation.7Booksy. Export Your Data First
Once the subscription lapses, your business profile disappears from the public Booksy marketplace and you lose access to the dashboard. Getting that information back afterward isn’t straightforward, so download what you need while you still have access.

Client contacts and appointment histories that took years to build aren’t worth rebuilding from scratch on another platform.
Canceling Is Not the Same as Deleting Your Account
Canceling stops future charges and eventually removes your business listing from the marketplace. It does not wipe your personal data from Booksy’s systems. If you want the data removed, send a separate request to privacy@booksy.com from the email address on the account.10Booksy. What You Don’t Need to Cancel Separately
Booksy Boost doesn’t require its own cancellation. It has no monthly fee and instead charges a one-time commission on a new client’s first visit, with a minimum of $10 and a maximum of $100 per first visit.11Booksy Biz Help Center. How Does Boost Pricing Work Once your subscription ends and your profile is off the marketplace, Boost stops referring new clients on its own.
Tax forms are a similar case. Booksy does not issue 1099-Ks directly. If you took payments through Booksy’s integrated payment tools, your 1099-K comes from Stripe, the processor behind those transactions, and Stripe emails near the end of the tax year to confirm your details.12Booksy Biz Help Center. Does Booksy Provide Tax Forms (1099-K Tax Form) Canceling Booksy doesn’t stop the form from being issued. Keep the email address on file with Stripe active, and pull your Booksy revenue reports before you cancel so you have your own records alongside whatever Stripe reports to the IRS.
