How to Cancel Your Beachbody (BODi) Subscription

To cancel a Beachbody subscription (now called BODi), you have to cancel through whichever platform is actually billing you: the BODi website if you signed up directly, or Apple, Google, or Roku if you subscribed through an app store. Get the platform wrong and nothing happens. The monthly plan is $19 and the annual plan is $179, and both renew automatically until a cancellation goes through on the right side.

Check Where Your Payments Are Coming From

Pull up your credit card or bank statement and look at the merchant name on the charge. If it reads “Beachbody” or “BODi,” you bought directly from the company and you’ll cancel on the BODi website. If it reads Apple, Google, or Roku, you subscribed through that store and have to cancel there. BODi’s support page confirms that third-party purchases have to be canceled through the same store where you originally bought the plan.1BODi Support. How to Cancel Subscriptions

This is where most people get stuck. Canceling on the BODi site does nothing if Apple is the one processing your payments, and the reverse holds too. You’ll think you canceled and the charges will keep arriving.

Canceling on the BODi Website

Sign in to your BODi account and go to the “Subscription” section. Click “Manage” next to the plan you want to end, then “Cancel Subscription.” You’ll be walked through several screens, including offers to switch plans or pause your membership. Keep going until you reach the final confirmation.1BODi Support. How to Cancel Subscriptions

At the end, you’ll see two options. “Cancel and Keep Access” ends the subscription but lets you use the service through the rest of the billing period you already paid for. “Cancel Subscription” may also offer a refund if you’re inside the money-back guarantee window. Either one stops the renewal.1BODi Support. How to Cancel Subscriptions

Do not stop before you see a confirmation message. If you close the tab on one of the retention screens, your subscription is still active and you’ll be charged $19 for the next month or $179 at your annual renewal.2The Beachbody Company, Inc. Canceling Through Apple, Google, or Roku

If you subscribed through an app store, the BODi website can’t stop your payments. You have to cancel on the platform doing the billing.

iPhone or iPad

Open the Settings app, tap your name at the top, then tap “Subscriptions.” Find BODi, tap it, and select “Cancel Subscription.” The cancel button may sit below the fold, so scroll down if you don’t see it. If you see an expiration message in red, the subscription is already canceled. On a free trial, cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends or you’ll be charged for the first full billing period.3Apple. If You Want to Cancel a Subscription From Apple

Android

Open subscriptions in Google Play, select BODi, tap “Cancel subscription,” and follow the prompts. You can also get there through Settings by tapping Google, then your name, then “Manage your Google Account,” and selecting “Payments & subscriptions.”4Google Play Help. Roku

From the Roku home screen, highlight the BODi channel with the arrow buttons. Press the Star button on your remote to open the options menu, then select “Manage subscription.” You can turn off auto-renew or cancel outright from there.5Roku Support. Manage or Cancel Subscriptions on Roku

Shakeology and Other Nutrition Orders

Recurring nutrition orders like Shakeology are separate from your digital fitness membership, even if you signed up for both at once. Canceling the app subscription does not stop a nutrition shipment. Go to “My Account” on the BODi site and manage the nutrition subscription there. Timing is tight: once a shipment has been processed, you cannot cancel that order. You can return the product for a refund, but you need to cancel before the next shipment processes to avoid getting another box.1BODi Support. How to Cancel Subscriptions

If you do return a product, BODi deducts both the return shipping cost and the original delivery cost from your refund. No separate restocking fee, but those two deductions can eat into what comes back.6BODi Support. Return Order

Make Sure the Cancellation Actually Went Through

Look for a confirmation email from BODi or the app store. It should include a reference number or transaction ID. If nothing arrives within a few hours, check spam. Save the email. It’s your evidence if charges continue and you have to dispute them.

Then log back in and check your account dashboard. It should show an expiration date instead of an upcoming renewal. If it still shows “active” with a renewal date, the cancellation did not process and you need to run through the steps again. Whenever you cancel, you keep access through the end of the period you already paid for.1BODi Support. How to Cancel Subscriptions

Whether You Can Get a Refund

BODi has a 31-day money-back guarantee on initial purchases. For digital subscriptions, the 31 days run from your purchase date or the start of your initial subscription term. For physical products like supplements and equipment, the clock starts on the delivery date. If you bought a bundle, every component has to be returned to qualify.7BODi Support. Money Back Guarantee

Three situations where the guarantee does not apply:

  • Renewals. If your subscription auto-renewed and you missed the window, you won’t get a refund for that renewal. You keep access through the end of the term, but the charge stands.
  • Free trials. Subscriptions that started with a free trial aren’t eligible for a refund. Cancel during the trial itself to avoid any charge.
  • Third-party purchases. If you bought through Apple, Google, or Amazon, the platform’s refund policy governs, not BODi’s.7BODi Support. Money Back Guarantee

If Charges Keep Coming After You Cancel

Usually this means the cancellation didn’t fully process, or it was made on the wrong platform. Log back into both your BODi account and the relevant app store and confirm the subscription status shows as expired or canceled on the side that’s actually billing you.

If the subscription really does show as canceled and charges continue, dispute the charge with your credit card issuer. Under the Fair Credit Billing Act, you have 60 days from the date the statement containing the error was sent to you. Send a written dispute to the address your card issuer designates for billing inquiries, with your name, account number, and a description of the charge. The issuer has to acknowledge the dispute within 30 days and resolve it within 90 days.8Federal Trade Commission. Using Credit Cards and Disputing Charges Your cancellation confirmation email is the key piece of evidence, which is why you saved it.

While the dispute is being investigated, you can withhold payment on the disputed amount without being reported delinquent or facing collection. Federal law caps your liability for unauthorized charges at $50.8Federal Trade Commission. Using Credit Cards and Disputing Charges

Canceling Is Not the Same as Deleting Your Account

Stopping the charges doesn’t remove your account or your personal information from BODi’s records. If you want your data deleted, that’s a separate request. Visit BODi’s “Consumer Privacy Rights and Account Deletion” page and submit the identity verification form, selecting your country of residence and providing your personal details.9BODi Support. BODi then sends a verification email with a link you have to click to confirm the request. Skip that step or enter inaccurate information and the request can be delayed or denied. Once processed, the deletion is permanent, so only do it if you’re sure you won’t resubscribe.9BODi Support. Consumer Privacy Rights and Account Deletion
