To cancel your Aosu subscription (aosuProtect+), go to whichever service is actually billing you: the Aosu app if you subscribed directly, Apple if you signed up on an iPhone or iPad, or Google Play if you signed up on Android. Your access continues through the end of the current billing period, and there are no partial refunds for canceling mid-cycle.1aosulife.com. Subscription Policy and Terms of Service
First, Find Out Who’s Charging You
Check your bank or credit card statement. A charge listed as “Apple.com/bill” means Apple handles the subscription. A charge showing Google or “GOOGLE*Aosu” means it’s billed through Google Play. A charge coming directly from Aosu means you subscribed through the app or website.
You can also confirm inside the app. Open Aosu, then go to Settings, Cloud Recording, and My Service. That screen shows your active plan.
Cancel Directly in the Aosu App
If Aosu is billing you directly, this is the fastest route. Open the Aosu app and tap Settings, then Cloud Recording, then My Service. Select the plan you want to cancel, tap Unsubscribe, and confirm with OK. The cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period, not immediately.1aosulife.com. Subscription Policy and Terms of Service
If the unsubscribe option doesn’t appear or the plan screen won’t load, use the in-app support or online customer service link inside settings to reach Aosu for help.
Cancel Through Apple on iPhone or iPad
If you subscribed on an iPhone or iPad through the App Store, Apple owns the billing and canceling has to happen in Apple’s settings. Open the Settings app, tap your name at the top, then tap Subscriptions. Find Aosu in the list of active subscriptions, tap it, then tap Cancel Subscription.2Apple Support. If You Want to Cancel a Subscription From Apple
If there’s no Cancel button and you see an expiration date in red instead, the subscription is already canceled. After you confirm, the screen shows when your remaining access expires rather than a next renewal date.
Cancel Through Google Play on Android
Open your device’s Settings app, tap Google, tap your name, and select Manage your Google Account. Tap Payments & subscriptions, then Manage subscriptions. Find Aosu in the list and follow the prompts to cancel. Google will stop billing at the end of your current paid period.3Google Play Help. Cancel, Pause, or Change a Subscription on Google Play
Uninstalling the Aosu app does not cancel the subscription. The billing relationship lives in your Google account, so removing the app from your phone will leave the charges running.
Save Your Recordings Before the Plan Ends
Your subscription stays active until the billing period closes, so you keep access during that window. After it expires, cloud-stored footage follows the plan’s retention schedule: clips on a 30-day event plan are deleted 30 days after they were recorded, and clips on a 14-day plan are deleted after 14 days.4aosu. Cloud-Storage
Download anything you want to keep before that happens. Open the Aosu app, find the clips in your event history, and save them to your phone or another location. Once the retention window closes, the footage is gone.
Refunds and the Free Trial
Aosu offers a 30-day free trial on aosuProtect+. If you don’t cancel before it ends, the trial converts to a paid plan and charges the payment method on file, then auto-renews each month.5aosu. Cloud-Storage
Aosu does not issue partial refunds for mid-month cancellations. If you cancel on day five of a monthly cycle, you keep access through the end of that month but won’t get money back for the unused days.1aosulife.com. Subscription Policy and Terms of Service For subscriptions billed through Apple or Google, those platforms’ refund policies apply instead.
What Your Cameras Still Do After Cancellation
Canceling cloud storage doesn’t disable the hardware. Your Aosu cameras keep working for live viewing, two-way audio, motion detection alerts, pan-and-tilt control, and color night vision. What goes away is cloud event recording and the ability to scroll back through stored footage remotely. If you have an Aosu base station, local recording continues to that device without any subscription.
