How to Cancel VidAngel Subscription on Any Device

To cancel your VidAngel subscription, use the same platform that’s billing you: cancel on VidAngel.com if you subscribed directly, or through Apple, Google Play, Roku, or Amazon if you signed up through one of those app stores. VidAngel cannot stop charges coming from a third-party platform on your behalf, so picking the right place is the whole game. Check your bank or credit card statement first. A charge labeled “VidAngel” means you’re a direct subscriber. A charge labeled Apple, Google, Roku, or Amazon means you need to cancel inside that platform.

Cancel a Direct Subscription on VidAngel.com

Log in at www.vidangel.com. Click your profile or your name near the top right, then select Account. Click Cancel Subscription, leave optional feedback, and click Continue. You’ll likely see a retention offer. If you still want out, click Continue to Cancel, then Confirm Cancelation on the final page. Filtering stays active through the end of the billing period you already paid for.1VidAngel. Cancel My Subscription

Cancel Through an App Store

App store subscriptions run $11.99 per month instead of the $9.99 charged for direct subscriptions, because the platforms add their own fees.2VidAngel. How Much Does VidAngel Cost Whichever store you used, finish the cancellation before your next billing date.

Apple (iPhone or iPad)

Open Settings, tap your name at the top, then tap Subscriptions. Find VidAngel, tap it, and tap Cancel Subscription. You may need to scroll to see the button. If the cancel button isn’t there and you see an expiration date in red, the subscription is already canceled.3Apple Support. If You Want to Cancel a Subscription From Apple

Google Play (Android)

Open your device’s Settings app, tap Google, tap your name, then Manage your Google Account. Go to Payments & subscriptions, then Manage subscriptions. Select VidAngel and follow the prompts. The subscriptions page inside the Google Play app works too.4Google Play Help. Cancel, Pause, or Change a Subscription on Google Play

Roku

On the Roku device, press Home, highlight the VidAngel app without opening it, press the Star (*) button, select Manage subscription, and choose Turn off auto-renew. Or sign in at Roku.com, click your profile icon, open My account, go to My subscriptions, find VidAngel, and select Turn off auto-renew.5VidAngel. Cancel a Roku Subscription

Amazon

One warning: if you signed up through an app store and also created a direct VidAngel account, canceling only one leaves the other charging you. Overlapping subscriptions are the most common reason people think cancellation didn’t work.5VidAngel. Cancel a Roku Subscription

What Happens After You Cancel

Filtering stays active through the end of the billing period you already paid for. When that period ends, you lose access to filtered content, but the account itself stays put. Your watchlist, saved filters, and settings are all preserved if you decide to come back.1VidAngel. Cancel My Subscription No further charges should appear on your statement. If one does, check for a second subscription on a different platform before assuming the cancellation failed.

Refund Eligibility

VidAngel offers a 30-day money-back guarantee, but only for new customers. Returning subscribers and anyone who upgraded to an annual plan don’t qualify. Gift cards are non-refundable. The policy doesn’t provide prorated refunds when you cancel partway through a billing cycle, which is why access continues until the period ends instead of being paid back.7VidAngel. Refund Policy

To request a refund under the 30-day guarantee, contact VidAngel support through the email form. Responses typically arrive within 24 hours. Support hours run Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. MST and Friday through Saturday from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. MST.8VidAngel. Contact Us

Canceling Is Not the Same as Deleting

Canceling stops future charges and ends your access when the billing period runs out, but your account data stays on file. Deleting is permanent and wipes your watchlist, saved filters, and other personal data. You have to cancel before VidAngel will let you delete.9VidAngel Help Center. Delete My Account

The deletion path depends on your device. On a phone or tablet, open the VidAngel app, select Me, then Account, then Delete Account. On TV apps, open the app, select Settings, then System Info, then Delete Account. On a computer or Roku, sign in at VidAngel.com, go to Profile, then Account, then Cancel Subscription; after that, submit a deletion request through the support form and answer any follow-up from the team.9VidAngel Help Center. If You Can’t Log In

Password resets are straightforward. The harder situation is not remembering which email address you signed up with. Contact VidAngel support through the help page. They can look up your account and either help you back in or process the cancellation on their end.1VidAngel. Cancel My Subscription

If VidAngel doesn’t respond and charges keep landing, federal Regulation E lets you contact your bank or credit card company and request a stop on preauthorized electronic transfers at least three business days before the next scheduled charge. Your financial institution has to honor the request.10Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. 12 CFR Part 1005.10 – Preauthorized Transfers Save that for last. Canceling directly with VidAngel or the app store is cleaner and keeps you out of a dispute between the merchant and your bank.
