How to Cancel Toybox Plus Membership on Any Device

To cancel your Toybox Plus membership, use the same channel that bills you: cancel inside the Toybox website or app if you subscribed directly, through the App Store if you signed up on an iPhone or iPad, or through Google Play if you signed up on Android. Using the wrong channel is the single most common reason people believe they’ve canceled and keep getting charged.

Find Out Who Is Actually Billing You

Before you cancel anything, check your original purchase confirmation email. If it came from Toybox, Toybox bills you directly. If it came from Apple or Google, that platform handles the money and Toybox cannot stop the charge on its end. This one detail decides everything that follows.

While you’re logged in, look at your Bolt balance. Bolts are the credits you use to unlock premium designs, and unused Bolts may not survive the end of your billing cycle once you cancel. Spend them on designs you want to keep before you shut the subscription off. Note when your current billing period ends too, since cancellation typically preserves access through that date without a partial refund.

Cancel Through the Toybox Website or App

If Toybox bills you directly, open the Toybox app or the Toybox website, go to the Toybox Plus section, and select Manage Subscription. Tap Edit, choose Cancel, and pick a reason. Auto-renewal stops immediately, and no further charge will hit unless you manually resubscribe.

If the cancel option won’t load or the account portal glitches, email support@toybox.com and ask them to end the subscription. Include your account email, the date you want cancellation to take effect, and a clear statement that you want all future charges stopped. Save the reply. That written trail is what protects you if anything goes wrong later.

Cancel Through the Apple App Store

If you subscribed on an iPhone or iPad, Apple is your billing provider. Open Settings, tap your name at the top, then tap Subscriptions. Find Toybox Plus, tap it, and select Cancel Subscription.1Apple Support. If You Want to Cancel a Subscription From Apple Confirm when prompted. Access continues through the end of the current billing period.

Canceling inside the Toybox app does nothing when Apple is your billing provider. The Toybox app may still display your subscription, but only Apple can stop the charge. If you already tried canceling in the Toybox app and are still being billed, this is almost always why.

Cancel Through Google Play

On Android, open the Google Play Store app, tap your profile icon, go to Payments & subscriptions, and select Subscriptions. Tap the Toybox Plus entry and choose Cancel subscription, then follow the prompts.2Google Play Help. Cancel, Pause, or Change a Subscription on Google Play The same rule applies as with Apple: if Google handles your billing, only Google can stop it. Emailing Toybox support won’t touch a Google-billed subscription.

Confirm the Cancellation Went Through

A confirmation email should arrive within a few minutes. If you canceled through Toybox, it comes from Toybox; if you canceled through Apple or Google, it comes from them. No email means the cancellation may not have processed, and you should go back and repeat the steps.

Log back into your Toybox account and check that your subscription shows an expiration date rather than a renewal date. You keep access to any designs you’ve already unlocked and to Plus features through the end of the current billing cycle. After that date, your account reverts to Toybox’s free access and you lose Plus-exclusive content you haven’t already downloaded or printed.

Watch your card or bank statement through the next billing window. Toybox Plus runs $9.99 per month on a monthly plan or roughly $8.49 per month on an annual plan, so you know the exact amount to look for.3Toybox Labs. What is Toybox Plus?

If You Get Charged After Canceling

Start with whoever billed you. Contact Toybox support if Toybox billed you directly, or the relevant app store if Apple or Google did. Most post-cancellation charges are billing delays or cases where the cancellation didn’t fully process, and support can usually reverse them.

If that doesn’t resolve it, file a formal billing dispute. For credit card charges, the Fair Credit Billing Act gives you 60 days from the date of the statement containing the error to dispute it in writing with your card issuer. For debit card or bank account charges, Regulation E under the Electronic Fund Transfer Act provides a similar 60-day window from the date the statement reflecting the unauthorized transfer was sent.4Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. 12 CFR 1005.11 – Procedures for Resolving Errors Keep your cancellation confirmation email as evidence. The 60-day clock is strict, so don’t wait on a questionable charge hoping it clears up.
