To cancel a SeaArt AI subscription, you have to go through whichever company actually processed your payment: SeaArt’s own subscription page or the Stripe billing portal if you signed up on the web, or Apple or Google’s subscription settings if you signed up through the iOS or Android app. Using the wrong path is the single most common reason people believe they’ve canceled and keep getting charged.1SeaArt AI. Find Out Who Is Actually Billing You
Before changing any settings, open your email receipts or bank statement and check which company processed the charge. SeaArt runs payments through four possible channels: Stripe (typical for web signups), Payermax, the Apple App Store, or the Google Play Store.1SeaArt AI. SeaArt AI – Subscription Cancellation Information
One boundary worth knowing: subscriptions processed through Payermax do not auto-renew after monthly or annual payments, so there may be nothing to cancel.1SeaArt AI. SeaArt AI – Subscription Cancellation Information Stripe subscriptions keep billing until you cancel them. App store subscriptions can only be stopped through Apple or Google—SeaArt’s website cannot end them.
While you’re in your inbox, note your next billing date. You want cancellation to land before that.
Canceling on the SeaArt Website
If Stripe processed your payment, you have two working paths.
Go to SeaArt’s Mall page, open the subscription management interface, and follow the prompts to cancel your current plan until you see confirmation that auto-renewal is off.1SeaArt AI. SeaArt AI – Subscription Cancellation Information
Alternatively, cancel through Stripe’s own customer portal. Your original Stripe receipt email contains a link to manage the subscription directly. Search your inbox for messages from “Stripe” or “receipts+seaart” if you can’t find it.
Take a screenshot of the confirmation screen either way. That screenshot is your evidence if a charge shows up later.
Canceling on iOS
If you subscribed inside the iPhone or iPad app, Apple controls the billing and SeaArt cannot cancel it for you.
- Open the Settings app.
- Tap your name at the top of the screen.
- Tap Subscriptions.
- Find SeaArt in the list and tap it.
- Tap Cancel Subscription.
If there is no Cancel button and you see an expiration message in red, the subscription is already canceled.2Apple Support. If You Want to Cancel a Subscription from Apple Apple emails a confirmation; keep it.
Canceling on Android
Android subscriptions live in the Google Play Store, not the SeaArt app.
- Open the Google Play app.
- Go to your subscriptions. You can also reach this through Settings, then Google, then Payments & subscriptions, then Manage subscriptions.
- Select the SeaArt subscription.
- Tap Cancel subscription and follow the prompts.
Google shows an on-screen confirmation and usually sends a follow-up email.3Google Play Help. Cancel, Pause, or Change a Subscription on Google Play Save both.
If You Are on the Free Trial, Cancel Early
SeaArt offers a 3-day free trial on some plans. The charge processes automatically when the trial ends, and regional differences and network delays can push that charge through a few hours early. SeaArt recommends canceling at least one full day before the trial expires.4SeaArt AI. SeaArt AI – Pricing
If the charge processes, SeaArt will not refund it. Its FAQ treats a completed trial charge the same as any other subscription payment.4SeaArt AI. SeaArt AI – Pricing Set a calendar reminder for day two if you’re only testing the platform.
What You Keep After Canceling
Cancellation does not cut off access immediately. Paid features and any remaining credits or tokens stay active until the end of the current billing period.1SeaArt AI. SeaArt AI – Subscription Cancellation Information After that, the account reverts to the free Beginner tier. Unused credits do not carry over, so spend them before the period ends.
The account itself remains active. You can log in, view your previously generated images, and use the free tier. You lose higher-speed generation, priority queue placement, and the larger credit allotment.
If You Are Still Being Charged
SeaArt’s Terms of Service state that VIP membership is non-refundable once the subscription is active, with exceptions only for major service defects or where a refund is required by applicable law.5SeaArt AI. Terms of Service Users who request refunds through SeaArt’s internal support channels report being systematically declined.
If charges continue after you canceled, or you were billed for a trial you thought you canceled in time, dispute the charge with your card issuer. Under federal law, you have 60 days from the date the charge appeared on your statement to send a written billing dispute notice to the issuer. Once they receive it, they have 30 days to acknowledge the notice and must investigate before requiring you to pay the disputed amount.6Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. How Do I Dispute a Charge on My Credit Card Bill
Include your cancellation confirmation screenshot, the date you canceled, and the date of the unauthorized charge. If the card company rules in your favor, the charge is reversed. If it sides with the merchant, it will explain why in writing and tell you what you owe.
