To cancel a Ro membership, log in at my.ro.co, open the card for your active program, click “Plan,” then “Cancel Plan,” and follow the confirmation prompts until the page shows the plan as inactive.1Ro. Canceling Through Your Ro Dashboard
Sign in at my.ro.co. On the card showing your active program, click “Plan,” then “Cancel Plan.”1Ro. How to Cancel a Subscription to the Body Program Ro will ask why you’re leaving and run you through a few confirmation screens before the final cancel button appears.
Wait for the screen that shows your plan as inactive before you close the tab. If you leave mid-process, the cancellation may not register, and the next charge will go through as scheduled. Take a screenshot of the confirmation if you can.
The same steps work whether you subscribed through Roman, Rory, or Ro Body.
Canceling by Email
If the dashboard isn’t working or you want a written record, send a message to care@ro.co.2Ro. How to Contact Us or Provide Feedback Include the email address on your account and the name of the specific treatment plan you want to end. A care coordinator reviews the request and sends a confirmation once it’s processed.
Email takes longer than the self-service route, so don’t send it the night before your renewal date. Save the confirmation email. If a charge posts anyway, that message is what you’ll show your bank or Ro’s support team.
Why Timing Matters
Ro bills on a recurring cycle, and the company’s refund policy states that all sales of prescription products are final and no returns are accepted.3Ro. Returns and Refunds That isn’t unusual: once a prescription medication reaches a patient, pharmacy rules generally prohibit returning it to stock, because the pharmacy can no longer verify the drug’s safety or integrity.4Food and Drug Administration. CPG Sec 460.300 Return of Unused Prescription Drugs to Pharmacy Stock
Ro doesn’t publish a specific number of days before renewal that cancellation must happen. If a shipment is already in processing or fulfillment when you cancel, you’ll still be billed and you’ll still receive it. The only common exception is a dispensing error on Ro’s end, which you should flag immediately. Cancel as soon as you’ve decided rather than waiting for the deadline you can’t actually see.
Canceling a Plan Is Not the Same as Closing Your Account
Clicking “Cancel Plan” stops billing and shipments for that treatment, but your Ro account stays open. You can still log in, view past orders, and message your provider. If you want the account itself closed, email care@ro.co and specifically ask to deactivate it.2Ro. How to Contact Us or Provide Feedback
Most people only need the plan canceled. Full deactivation makes sense if you’re done with Ro entirely and don’t need future access to your records through the platform. Download anything you want to keep before you ask for deactivation.
If You Have More Than One Subscription
Each plan cancels separately. If you’re on both a hair loss plan and an ED plan, for example, canceling one doesn’t touch the other. Open every active card on your dashboard and cancel each individually.
Membership and medication billing cycles may not line up either. After you’ve canceled the membership, check for any standalone medication orders still pending and cancel those as a separate step.
Keeping Your Prescription If You Still Need It
Canceling Ro doesn’t mean you have to stop your medication. You can transfer the prescription to a local pharmacy. Send your Ro healthcare provider a secure message through ro.co/contact-us with the name, address, and phone number of the pharmacy you want to use. The provider processes transfers within two business days.5Ro. Transfer My Prescription to a Local Pharmacy
Your local pharmacy needs to accept electronic prescriptions through the Surescripts network. Most chains and many independents do, but call ahead and confirm. If you’re on a medication you shouldn’t stop abruptly, line up the transfer before you cancel so your supply doesn’t lapse.
If Ro Keeps Charging You After You Cancel
If charges keep posting after you’ve canceled and support isn’t responding, you can ask your bank to stop payment on the recurring charge. Under federal Regulation E, you must notify the bank at least three business days before the next scheduled transfer.6Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. 12 CFR 1005.10 – Preauthorized Transfers You can call it in, but the bank may require written confirmation within 14 days to keep the order in effect. For a credit card charge, a chargeback dispute through your card issuer follows a different process.
Treat this as a backup, not a shortcut. If you stop payment without actually canceling with Ro, the company may still consider the account active and the charges owed. Cancel first, keep the confirmation, and go to the bank only if Ro fails to honor what you’ve already done.
