To cancel a PreSonus subscription (now sold as Fender Studio Pro+), sign in at my.fender.com, open Membership & Billing, and choose Cancel Membership. That works only if you paid PreSonus or Fender directly. If your card is billed through Apple, Google Play, or PayPal, you have to cancel with that platform, because PreSonus doesn’t control those billing relationships.
Access continues through the end of the period you’ve already paid for. Note the effective end date the site shows you and save the confirmation.1PreSonus. Fender Studio Pro Frequently Asked Questions
Save Your Work Before You Cancel
Any track built with a subscription-only instrument or effect will go silent once your access ends. Bounce those tracks to audio while the plugins still load: select the track, render it to a new audio file, and save the project. That bakes the sound into a permanent file that no longer depends on the plugin. For tracks you may want to edit later, freeze them instead so the MIDI data stays alongside the rendered audio.
Download anything sitting in your PreSonus cloud workspaces too. Those files become inaccessible once the membership ends.1PreSonus. Fender Studio Pro Frequently Asked Questions

Cancel Through Apple
If you signed up on an iPhone, iPad, or Mac, Apple owns the billing. Canceling inside the app or on the PreSonus site won’t stop the charge.
- iPhone or iPad: open Settings, tap your name, tap Subscriptions, find the PreSonus or Fender Studio Pro entry, and tap Cancel Subscription.
- Mac: open the App Store, click your name, click Account Settings, scroll to Subscriptions, click Manage, select the subscription, and click Cancel Subscription.
If you’re inside a free or discounted trial, cancel at least 24 hours before it ends or Apple will charge you for the first full cycle.2Apple Support. If You Want to Cancel a Subscription from Apple
Cancel Through Google Play
Open the Play Store app, tap your profile icon, tap Subscriptions, select the PreSonus entry, and tap Cancel. Google bills at the start of each cycle, so cancel before the renewal date to avoid the next charge.3Google Play Help. Cancel, Pause, or Change a Subscription on Google Play
Cancel Through PayPal
If you set up automatic payments through PayPal, cancel the billing agreement inside PayPal even if you also canceled on the PreSonus site. On the website, go to Settings, then Payments, then Automatic Payments (or Subscriptions and saved businesses), find the PreSonus or Fender entry, and cancel it. In the PayPal app, tap the menu icon, tap Subscriptions, select the merchant, and choose Stop Paying with PayPal.4PayPal. What Is an Automatic Payment and How Do I Update or Cancel One
What You Keep, What You Lose, and Refunds
The annual plan at $179.99/year includes a perpetual license for the base version of Fender Studio Pro, so you keep the core DAW after your subscription lapses. The monthly plan at $19.99/month is access-only, and everything goes away when billing stops.5Fender. Fender Studio Pro Subscription Details If you’re on the annual plan, confirm your perpetual license has been issued and activated before you cancel.
Either way, you lose access to Studio One Professional, Notion, and subscription-exclusive plugins and sample packs once the paid period runs out.1PreSonus. Fender Studio Pro Frequently Asked Questions
PreSonus’s software return policy applies only to perpetual licenses, not subscriptions.6PreSonus. Software Returns Don’t expect a prorated refund for the unused portion of a cycle. Your features stay live until the end date.
If You’re Charged After Canceling
If a charge hits after you properly canceled, your bank can stop it. Federal Regulation E lets you halt a preauthorized electronic payment by notifying your financial institution at least three business days before the scheduled charge, and the bank may ask for written confirmation afterward.7eCFR. 12 CFR Part 205 – Electronic Fund Transfers Regulation E Use this after you’ve already canceled through the right platform, not instead of it.
Canceling Is Not the Same as Deleting Your Account
Canceling stops future charges and leaves your account, purchase history, and any perpetual licenses intact. Deleting your account is a separate, self-service action at my.presonus.com that permanently removes all software and hardware registrations, support history, payment information, and forum access, and every piece of PreSonus software tied to that account, including perpetual licenses for Studio One, Notion, and plugins, stops working.8PreSonus.
