How to Cancel PopAI Subscription: Web, iOS, Android, and Refunds

To cancel a PopAI subscription, you have to cancel it in the same place you bought it: through your account on the PopAI website, through Apple if you signed up on an iPhone or iPad, or through Google Play if you signed up on Android. Canceling inside the PopAI app itself doesn’t stop billing when Apple or Google is the one charging you, and that mismatch is the most common reason people keep seeing charges after they thought they were done.

Find Out Who Is Actually Billing You

Before you tap anything, figure out which company is taking your money. PopAI runs payments through three separate channels, and each has its own cancellation path.

Check the confirmation email from your original signup, or look at your bank or credit card statement. If the charge is from PopAI directly, you subscribed on the website. If it’s from Apple, you signed up on an iPhone or iPad. If it’s from Google, you signed up on Android. You can also open PopAI, go to your profile or settings, and look at the subscription details to see which payment method is on file.

Cancel on the PopAI Website

Log in at popai.pro, click your profile icon, and open your subscription settings. Select Cancel Subscription and confirm when prompted.1PopAi. Cancel Through Apple on iPhone or iPad

Apple handles App Store subscription billing on its own, separate from PopAI. Open the Settings app, tap your name at the top, then tap Subscriptions.2Apple Support. If You Want to Cancel a Subscription From Apple Find PopAI in the list, tap it, and select Cancel Subscription.

Timing matters here. Apple requires the cancellation to go through at least 24 hours before your current billing period ends. Miss that window and the next cycle bills before your cancellation takes effect.3Apple App Store. PopAi: AI Chat and Homework Helper Set a reminder a few days before renewal.

Cancel Through Google Play on Android

Open the Google Play Store app and go to your subscriptions. Find PopAI, tap it, and select Cancel.4Google Play Help. Cancel, Pause, or Change a Subscription on Google Play Google will confirm the cancellation and tell you the date your access ends.

Google Play also offers a pause option on some subscriptions. You can suspend billing for anywhere from one week to three months, and billing resumes automatically when the pause ends. Annual subscriptions can’t be paused. If you’re on the fence, pausing stops the charges without ending the subscription outright.

Timing, Refunds, and What You Keep

Cancel well before your renewal date on any platform. Once a charge processes, reversing it is much harder than preventing it. Canceling mid-cycle on an annual plan doesn’t usually generate a prorated refund; you keep access through the end of the paid period and nothing comes back for the unused months.

PopAI’s refund terms depend on where you live. If you’re in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you can request a full refund by canceling within 14 days of purchase. Email customerservice@popai.pro with the address on your account, your subscription start date, and any details that help identify the purchase.5PopAi. PopAi Terms of Service

Outside the EEA and UK, PopAI’s terms say you aren’t entitled to a refund once you’ve started using the service.5PopAi. PopAi Terms of Service If Apple or Google is the biller, each runs its own refund process separately from PopAI’s, and you can try there as well.

Canceling stops future charges but doesn’t cut off your access immediately. You keep paid features through the end of the period you already paid for, then the account drops to the free tier.4Google Play Help. Cancel, Pause, or Change a Subscription on Google Play The free tier is a lifetime allotment of 500 credits, not a monthly reset, so if you used PopAI before upgrading, most of that may already be gone.6PopAi. If the Charges Keep Coming

Go back and check that you canceled in the right place. Canceling inside the PopAI app on your phone does not stop billing when Apple or Google is the merchant. Open your device’s subscription settings and confirm the status reads canceled or expired.

If the cancellation is confirmed and you’re still being charged, dispute the charge with your credit card issuer. Under the Fair Credit Billing Act, you have 60 days from the date of the billing statement to send a written dispute to the card issuer’s billing inquiry address.7Federal Trade Commission. Using Credit Cards and Disputing Charges Send it by certified mail with a return receipt. The issuer has to acknowledge your complaint within 30 days and resolve it within 90. Include your cancellation confirmation screenshot as evidence.

That 60-day window is firm. If several months of unwanted charges pile up before you notice, only the most recent ones fall inside it. Check your statements every month after canceling.

Deleting Your Account Is a Separate Step

Canceling ends billing. It does not delete your account or your data. If you want everything removed, email customerservice@popai.pro and request account deletion. The app doesn’t appear to offer a self-service deletion that finishes the job on its own. Keep a copy of your request and follow up if you don’t hear back.

Cancel the subscription first, then request deletion. If you delete the account while the subscription is still active with Apple or Google, the billing side may not know the underlying account is gone and the charges can continue.
