How to Cancel Picture This App: iPhone, Android, and Website

To cancel PictureThis, go to the same platform where you signed up: Apple (Settings on your iPhone or iPad), Google Play (on Android), or the PictureThis website if you subscribed directly. Deleting the app does nothing to the billing. You’ll keep getting charged until you formally cancel in the right place.

Deleting the App Doesn’t Stop the Charges

This is the mistake that costs people the most money. Dragging the PictureThis icon off your phone, or uninstalling it on Android, leaves the subscription running in the background. Apple and Google treat app subscriptions as separate from the app, so removing the app has zero effect on billing. Renewals keep hitting your card.

If you deleted the app weeks or months ago and assumed that handled it, check your bank statement now. You may have been billed one or more times since. The steps below work whether or not the app is still installed.

Find Out Which Platform Is Billing You

Before canceling, figure out who is actually charging you. There are three possibilities: Apple (subscribed on iPhone or iPad), Google Play (subscribed on Android), or PictureThis directly (signed up on their website). Cancellation only works through the platform that took the money.

The fastest check is your bank or credit card statement. Apple charges usually show as “APPLE.COM/BILL.” Google charges tend to include “GOOGLE” in the description. A direct charge from PictureThis typically shows the company name. If the statement isn’t clear, work through the platform-specific subscription lists below until you find the active PictureThis entry.

Cancel on iPhone or iPad

If you subscribed through an Apple device, the subscription is in your Apple ID settings.

  • Open the Settings app.
  • Tap your name at the top of the screen.
  • Tap Subscriptions.
  • Tap PictureThis, then tap Cancel Subscription (or Cancel Free Trial).

One catch: if the subscription was bought by a Family Sharing organizer, you can’t cancel it from your own account. It’s billed to their payment method, so that person has to do it.1Apple Support. Share Apple and App Store Subscriptions With Family Members on iPhone

After you cancel, the subscription page should switch from showing a renewal date to showing an expiration date. That’s your confirmation it went through.2Apple Support. If You Want to Cancel a Subscription From Apple

Cancel on Android

Make sure you’re signed into the same Google Account you used to buy the subscription. If PictureThis doesn’t appear in your subscription list, you’re probably on the wrong account.3Google Play Help. Cancel, Pause, or Change a Subscription on Google Play

Through the Play Store: open Play Store, tap your profile icon in the top-right corner, then tap Payments & subscriptions, then Subscriptions. Find PictureThis and tap Cancel.

Cancel a Subscription From the PictureThis Website

If you signed up at picturethisai.com rather than through an app store, cancellation happens through your PictureThis account. Log in with the email and password you used at sign-up and look for subscription management in your account settings.

If you can’t find the option or can’t log in, email support@picturethisai.com. Include the account email and any payment confirmation from the original purchase.4PictureThis. PictureThis FAQ

Free Trial: Cancel at Least 24 Hours Early

PictureThis offers a 7-day free trial of premium features. To avoid being charged, cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends.5Google Play. PictureThis – Plant Identifier If your trial started on a Monday, cancel by the previous Sunday. Waiting for the last day and forgetting is how most surprise charges happen.

The annual subscription runs around $30 per year, though pricing varies by region and promotion. A weekly option exists but costs significantly more over a full year. The charge posts the moment the trial converts, so set a calendar reminder a couple of days out if you’re undecided.

Check That the Cancellation Actually Worked

Don’t assume it went through because you tapped a button. Take 30 seconds to verify.

On Apple: go back to Settings, tap your name, tap Subscriptions, and open PictureThis. A canceled subscription shows an expiration date. If you still see “Renews on,” it didn’t complete.2Apple Support. If You Want to Cancel a Subscription From Apple

On Google Play: return to the subscriptions list. A canceled entry will show as expired or show the date access ends, not a next billing date.3Google Play Help. Cancel, Pause, or Change a Subscription on Google Play

Either way, you keep access to premium features until the end of the billing period you already paid for. Canceling stops the next charge; it doesn’t cut you off early. A confirmation email usually arrives within a few minutes, and it’s worth saving in case you need to dispute a later charge.

Getting a Refund If You Were Already Charged

If you were billed after a trial you thought you’d canceled, or after trying to cancel, request the refund through whoever processed the payment.

For Apple charges, go to reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in with your Apple ID, choose Request a refund, pick a reason, and select the PictureThis charge from your purchase history. Apple usually responds within 48 hours. Approval isn’t guaranteed, but a trial charge you tried to cancel in good faith has a reasonable chance.6Apple Support. Request a Refund for Apps or Content That You Bought From Apple

For Google Play charges, open the Play Store, go to your profile, then Payments & subscriptions, and find the PictureThis charge in your purchase history. Google’s workflow will walk you through the request; approval depends on timing and circumstances.

For a purchase made directly on the PictureThis website, email support@picturethisai.com with your account details and payment receipt. Refunds on direct purchases are handled by PictureThis, not by an app store.4PictureThis. PictureThis FAQ
