How to Cancel Peloton Membership on Any Platform

To cancel a Peloton membership, go to the place that charges you. If Peloton Interactive shows up on your card statement, you cancel on onepeloton.com. If the charge comes from Apple, Google, or Amazon, you cancel inside that platform’s subscription settings. There is no early termination fee, and you keep access to classes through the end of your current billing period.

Check Who Actually Bills You

Before doing anything else, pull up a recent bank or credit card statement and look at the merchant on the Peloton charge. If it reads Peloton Interactive, your subscription is first-party and Peloton’s website can cancel it. If it reads Apple, Google, or Amazon, the subscription is third-party and Peloton’s site cannot touch it. Any billing changes have to go through the platform where you originally signed up.1Peloton. This matters for every membership type Peloton sells, including the $49.99 All-Access Membership for equipment owners and the phone- and tablet-based App One and App+ plans.2Peloton Support. Peloton App Memberships vs Peloton All-Access Membership

Canceling on Peloton’s Website

If Peloton bills you directly, do this from a web browser. You cannot cancel from the Peloton app on your phone, tablet, or equipment touchscreen.

  1. Log in at onepeloton.com and open your membership settings.
  2. Click Manage next to the subscription you want to end.
  3. Select Pause or cancel, then choose the cancel option.
  4. Give a reason when prompted and confirm.3Peloton Support. Peloton Membership – How to Manage Your All-Access Membership

You should see a confirmation screen and get a confirmation email. Save the email. If a charge shows up after your billing period ends, that email is your proof the cancellation went through.

If the website misbehaves, Peloton support is on the phone at (866) 679-9129 and on live chat, seven days a week from 6 AM to midnight ET.1Peloton. Peloton Membership – Identifying and Canceling a Peloton App Membership

Canceling Through Apple, Google, or Amazon

If you signed up through one of these platforms, Peloton cannot cancel for you. Trying to cancel on the Peloton website will just redirect you back to the correct platform.4Peloton. Peloton Membership – How to Manage Your Third-Party App Membership

Apple (iPhone or iPad)

Open Settings, tap your name at the top, then Subscriptions. Find Peloton, select it, and tap Cancel Subscription.

Google Play (Android)

Open the Google Play Store, tap your profile icon, go to Payments & Subscriptions, then Subscriptions. Select Peloton and tap Cancel subscription.

Amazon

Sign in to your Amazon account, open your account settings, go to the subscriptions page, find Peloton, and follow the prompts. Amazon handles billing on its own, so Peloton support cannot process this one for you either.4Peloton. Peloton Membership – How to Manage Your Third-Party App Membership

Annual Plans Are Not Refunded

Monthly plans stop cleanly: you cancel, you finish out the cycle, you are not billed again. Annual plans work differently. Peloton will not give you a prorated refund for the unused portion, and you remain responsible for any outstanding fees through the end of the committed period.5Peloton. Peloton Membership Terms

If you prepaid $129 for an annual App One plan and cancel three months in, the remaining nine months are gone. When you’re on an annual plan and know you want out, set a calendar reminder for a few days before the renewal date and cancel then so you use everything you already paid for.

Pause Instead if You’ll Be Back

If you just need a break, pausing keeps your account and workout history intact and stops the billing. All-Access members can pause for one, two, or three months.3Peloton Support. Peloton Membership – How to Manage Your All-Access Membership

The path is the same as canceling. Open the membership management page on onepeloton.com, choose the pause option, and pick the length. The system shows you the date billing will automatically resume. You lose access to premium content during the pause, but your workout history, badges, and profile data stay put. Pausing is only available on memberships billed directly by Peloton; Apple, Google, and Amazon don’t offer it.

What Happens After You Cancel

You keep full access to classes and content through the last day of your current billing period. After that date, the on-demand library and live classes shut off.3Peloton Support. Peloton Membership – How to Manage Your All-Access Membership

If you own the hardware, the Bike, Tread, or Row still works. Without a membership you keep a handful of pre-recorded classes and the Just Ride, Just Run, and Just Row modes. Basic metrics like cadence still display on screen, but nothing saves to your profile. No workouts, no achievements, no progress tracking.6Peloton Support. Canceling Is Not the Same as Deleting Your Account

Canceling stops billing and cuts off premium content, but your account, workout history, achievements, and profile all survive. You can reactivate later and pick up where you left off. Reactivation doesn’t charge you until it’s complete, and the billing date resets to the new activation date.7Peloton Support. Activating Your Peloton Product and Membership

Deleting your account is permanent. All workouts, achievements, and associated data are gone and cannot be recovered.8Peloton Support.
