To cancel Peacock, you have to go through whoever actually bills you. If you signed up on peacocktv.com, you cancel inside your Peacock account. If you subscribed through Apple, Google Play, Amazon, Roku, Xfinity, or an Instacart+ bundle, that platform controls the subscription and Peacock cannot cancel it for you. Trying to cancel in the wrong place is the most common reason people think a cancellation didn’t work.
Find Out Who Bills You
Log in at peacocktv.com and open the Account screen. If a third party handles your billing, Peacock says so right there.1Peacock. How Do I Change My Peacock Plan
No access to the account? Check your card or bank statement. Direct Peacock charges usually appear as “PEACOCK,” “PEACOCKTV,” or “NBCUNIVERSAL PEACOCK.” Apple bills show as “APPLE.COM/BILL,” Google Play as “GOOGLE PEACOCK,” Roku as “ROKU,” and Amazon as “AMAZON DIGITAL.” The name on the charge tells you which cancellation path to use.
Cancel Directly on Peacock
If Peacock bills you, do this:
- Log in at peacocktv.com
- Go to Plans & Payments
- Select Cancel Plan
- Confirm when prompted
You should see a confirmation on screen and get a confirmation email.2Peacock. How Do I Cancel My Peacock Plan If the email never arrives, log back in and check whether the plan still shows as active. Peacock may also present discounted retention offers before the final step, so click all the way through to the confirmation screen rather than stopping at an offer.
Cancel Through Apple
If you subscribed in the App Store on an iPhone, iPad, or Apple TV, Apple handles the billing. On an iPhone or iPad:
- Open Settings
- Tap your name at the top
- Tap Subscriptions
- Tap Peacock
- Tap Cancel Subscription

Cancel Through Google Play
Android subscribers who signed up in the Play Store cancel there. Open the Google Play app, go to your subscriptions, select Peacock, tap Cancel Subscription, and confirm.4Google Play Help. Cancel, Pause, or Change a Subscription on Google Play
Cancel Through Amazon
If you added Peacock through Amazon Prime Video Channels or a Fire TV device, Amazon controls the billing:
- Open Your Memberships and Subscriptions on Amazon’s website
- Find the Peacock entry
- Select Manage Subscription, then Cancel Subscription under Advanced Controls

Cancel Through Roku
This is where people get stuck. If you actually subscribed through Roku’s channel store, go to my.roku.com/subscriptions, find Peacock, select Manage Subscription, and cancel. But if you subscribed through Peacock directly and just watch on a Roku device, Roku cannot cancel it. Cancel Through Xfinity
Many Xfinity customers get Peacock Premium as part of a bundle. If you upgraded to Peacock Premium Plus through Xfinity, cancel it in Xfinity’s StreamStore, not on Peacock. Sign in at xfinity.com, open the StreamStore, click the Peacock tile, select the Premium Plus tile, click Remove, then Update Cart and Submit Order. Cancel the Instacart+ Peacock Bundle
Instacart+ members get Peacock Premium as a membership perk. You can cancel just the Peacock benefit inside your Instacart+ account settings. Only the primary member on an Instacart+ Family Account can manage the Peacock benefit. Canceling the Instacart+ membership itself ends the Peacock access too.8Instacart. Instacart+ | Peacock
One catch: if you already have a standalone Peacock subscription and want to switch to the bundled version, cancel your direct Peacock subscription first and wait for that billing cycle to end before activating the Instacart+ benefit.8Instacart. Instacart+ | Peacock
What Happens After You Cancel
Canceling doesn’t cut you off right away. You keep full access through the end of the billing period you already paid for. Cancel on March 2 with a March 15 renewal date, and you can still watch through March 15. After that, premium access ends.
Peacock discontinued its free tier for new sign-ups in early 2023, so a canceled account no longer falls back to a free library the way it did at launch. Once the paid period expires, the premium catalog is gone.
Annual plans don’t get a prorated refund if you cancel partway through, but you keep access through the end of the year you paid for.9Peacock.
