To cancel an Owll subscription, go to the app store where you signed up — Apple’s App Store, Google Play, or the Mac App Store — because that platform handles the billing, not the Owll app itself. Deleting Owll from your phone does not stop the charges. You also need to cancel at least 24 hours before your next renewal date, or you’ll be billed for another full cycle.1Apple. Cancel on iPhone or iPad
Most Owll users subscribed through Apple, so this is the common path:
- Open the Settings app.
- Tap your name at the top to open your Apple Account.
- Tap Subscriptions.
- Select Owll from the list.
- Tap Cancel Subscription. You may need to scroll down. If you see an expiration message in red instead, the subscription is already canceled.
After you confirm, premium access continues until the end of the period you already paid for. On a weekly plan, that’s the rest of the week; on the annual plan, the rest of the year.
Cancel on Android
If you subscribed through Google Play, cancellation runs through Google’s subscription manager.
- Open the Google Play Store and make sure you’re signed into the Google Account that bought the subscription.
- Tap your profile icon in the top right.
- Tap Payments & subscriptions, then Subscriptions.
- Tap Owll in your active subscriptions.
- Tap Cancel Subscription and follow the prompts.
You can also reach the same screen from the device’s Settings app under Google, then Manage your Google Account, then Payments & subscriptions.
Cancel on Mac
If the subscription was purchased through the Mac App Store, use the App Store application on your computer:
- Open the App Store and click your name in the bottom-left corner.
- Click Account Settings and sign in again if prompted.
- In the Manage section, click Manage next to Subscriptions.
- Click Edit next to Owll, then Cancel Subscription, and confirm.
Canceling During the Free Trial
Owll gives new users a 3-day free trial with access to all premium features.2OwllAI. FAQ Cancel before the three days are up and you won’t be charged. Miss that window by even a few hours and the trial converts to a paid subscription automatically.
Canceling during the trial does not cut off access early. You keep the full three days; the subscription just doesn’t roll into a paid cycle. If you’re only testing the app, canceling right after you sign up is the safest move.
Watch the 24-Hour Renewal Cutoff
Both Apple and Google require cancellation at least 24 hours before the renewal date. Weekly plans make this tight: if the subscription renews every Tuesday, Monday is your last day to cancel. To check your exact renewal date, open the Subscriptions section in your Apple or Google account settings — the date appears on the subscription detail page.
What Happens After You Cancel
Premium access runs through the end of the billing period you already paid for, then Owll reverts to its free tier.3Google Play Help. If you have transcripts, recordings, or notes in Owll that you want to keep, export them before your paid access ends. Some export features may be restricted to premium users, so downloading everything the same day you cancel is safer than waiting until the period expires.
If You Were Charged After Canceling
Refunds go through whichever app store took the payment. For Apple charges, visit reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in, choose “Request a refund,” select a reason, and pick the Owll charge from your purchase history.
