How to Cancel Muscle Booster Subscription and Get a Refund

To cancel a Muscle Booster subscription, go to the platform that bills you — the Apple App Store, Google Play, or the Muscle Booster website — and cancel there. Deleting the app from your phone does nothing. The charges live in your billing account, not on your device, so removing the icon leaves the payment schedule untouched.

Deleting the App Won’t Stop the Charges

This is the mistake that traps most people. Uninstalling Muscle Booster removes the app but keeps the underlying subscription active. Your card keeps getting billed on schedule because the agreement sits inside your Apple ID, Google account, or Muscle Booster web account. Cancel there first, then delete the app if you want.

Find Out Who Is Actually Billing You

Before you can cancel, identify which company is pulling the money. Pull up your credit card or bank statement and look at the charge description:

  • Apple-billed subscriptions show as “Apple.com/bill.”
  • Google Play charges appear as “GOOGLE*” followed by the app name.
  • Direct billing from the developer shows as “MUSCLE BOOSTER,” “ACTITECH,” or “FITNESS APP PLAN.”

You can also search your email for the original purchase confirmation. The receipt names the platform that processed the transaction. Get this right, because canceling through the wrong platform won’t stop anything. Muscle Booster plans run from roughly $14.99 per month up to $59.99 per year, with quarterly options in between, so a missed renewal isn’t cheap.

Cancel on iPhone or iPad

If Apple bills you, cancel from your device:

  • Open Settings and tap your name at the top.
  • Tap “Subscriptions.”
  • Tap the Muscle Booster entry.
  • Tap “Cancel Subscription” and confirm. You may need to scroll to find the button.

Once the cancellation goes through, the screen shows an expiration date rather than a renewal date. That’s your confirmation. You keep access to premium features until the current period ends.1Apple Support. If You Want to Cancel a Subscription From Apple

You can also do this in a browser by signing in at apps.apple.com with your Apple ID.

Cancel on Android

For Google Play billing, the path runs through Settings, not the Play Store app:

  • Open Settings, tap “Google,” then your name, then “Manage your Google Account.”
  • Tap “Payments & subscriptions,” then “Manage subscriptions.”
  • Tap the Muscle Booster subscription.
  • Follow the prompts to confirm.

A confirmation message appears when the request processes, and you keep access through the end of your paid period.2Google Play Help. Cancel, Pause, or Change a Subscription on Google Play

Cancel on the Muscle Booster Website

If your statement shows a direct charge from Muscle Booster or Actitech, you signed up through the developer’s site and have to cancel there:

  • Log in with the email and password you used at signup. The login link sits at the bottom of the homepage.
  • Open your profile or account settings and find the billing or subscription section.
  • Click the cancellation option and follow the confirmation steps.

You should get an automated confirmation email. Save it. If a charge shows up on a later statement, that email is your proof. If you can’t find the cancellation page, email support@muscle-booster.io.

Watch Out for Commitment Plans

Some Muscle Booster plans are structured as multi-month commitments. Canceling one before the agreed period ends triggers an early cancellation fee based on the terms you accepted at signup, and the amount varies by plan. If you’re still inside the 30-day money-back guarantee window and get hit with that fee, the company’s policy says it will refund both the original charge and the fee.3Muscle Booster. Getting a Refund

Canceling stops future charges. It doesn’t return money already taken. Where you go for a refund depends on who billed you.

Directly from Muscle Booster. The company treats most website purchases as final. The main exception is a 30-day money-back guarantee, and only if that guarantee was offered to you when you originally bought the plan. Renewal charges aren’t eligible regardless of how little you used the app. Submit a request through the online contact form or email support@muscle-booster.io. Approved card refunds are processed within two business days and can take up to five business days to land in your account. Residents of California and Connecticut have a separate three-business-day right to cancel for a full refund, and residents of the UK, EEA, and Switzerland can withdraw within 14 days of purchase without giving a reason.3Muscle Booster. Through Apple. Sign in at reportaproblem.apple.com, choose “Request a refund,” pick a reason, select the Muscle Booster charge, and submit. Apple typically responds within 24 to 48 hours.4Apple Support. Request a Refund for Apps or Content That You Bought From Apple

Through Google Play. Google may issue an automated refund if you ask within 48 hours of the charge. After that, Google sends you back to the developer. Google only allows one return per app, so if you re-subscribe later, a second refund isn’t on the table.5Google Play Help. Apps, Games, and In-App Purchases (Including Subscriptions) Refund Policies

If the Charges Don’t Stop

Federal law requires online subscription sellers to provide simple cancellation, get your express informed consent before charging you, and clearly disclose all material terms before taking your payment information. If Muscle Booster buries the cancel button, ignores your request, or bills you without clear consent, that likely violates the Restore Online Shoppers’ Confidence Act, and you can file a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission at ftc.gov.6Office of the Law Revision Counsel. 15 USC 8403 – Negative Option Marketing on the Internet

You can also escalate through your bank. For a debit card or bank account, federal regulations let you place a stop-payment order on preauthorized recurring transfers by notifying your bank at least three business days before the next scheduled charge. Oral requests may require written confirmation within 14 days to stay in effect.7eCFR. 12 CFR 205.10 – Preauthorized Transfers For a credit card, the Fair Credit Billing Act lets you dispute a charge as a billing error in writing within 60 days of the statement it appears on.8Office of the Law Revision Counsel. 15 USC 1666 – Correction of Billing Errors

Any dispute goes better with proof. Save every confirmation email, screenshot the cancellation screen, and note the date and time you finished the process. That record is what turns a slow argument with your bank into a fast reversal.
