How to Cancel Learna AI Subscription: Refunds, Trials, and Chargebacks

To cancel a Learna AI subscription, cancel it through whichever service actually charges your card: the Apple App Store if you signed up on an iPhone or iPad, Google Play if you signed up on Android, or Learna directly if you subscribed through the website. Canceling inside the Learna app itself does nothing if Apple or Google is the biller, and that mismatch is the most common reason people keep getting charged after they thought they were done.

Find Out Who Is Actually Billing You

Check your bank or credit card statement before you touch anything else. If the line item reads “Apple.com/bill,” your subscription runs through Apple. If it reads “GOOGLE*Learna,” it runs through Google Play. If it references Codeway or Learna directly, you signed up on the website and Learna bills you. Learna AI is developed by Codeway, and their support address is learnaweb@codeway.co.

Match the cancellation to the biller. Nothing else in this article matters until you know which one you’re dealing with.

Cancel on iPhone, iPad, or Mac

On an iPhone or iPad, open Settings and tap your name at the top. Tap Subscriptions. You’ll see every active and expired subscription tied to your Apple Account. Tap Learna AI, which may be listed as “Learna Pro” or “Speak & Learn English.” Tap Cancel Subscription; you may need to scroll to find the button. If you see an expiration message in red instead of a cancel button, the subscription is already canceled.

On a Mac, open the App Store, click your name, then Account Settings. Scroll to Subscriptions, click Manage, select Learna, and click Cancel Subscription.1Apple Support. If You Want to Cancel a Subscription From Apple

You keep premium access until the end of the current billing period. Apple does not automatically issue a partial refund for the unused time.

Cancel on Android

Open your device Settings, tap Google, then your name, then Manage your Google Account. Tap Payments & subscriptions, then Manage subscriptions. Select Learna AI and tap Cancel subscription. You can also do this from the Google Play Store app: tap your profile icon, then Payments & subscriptions, then Manage subscriptions.2Google Play. Cancel at least 48 hours before the next renewal date to avoid being charged for another cycle. Once you cancel, the screen shows the date your access ends.

Cancel a Subscription Bought Directly From Learna

If you signed up on Learna’s website rather than through an app store, log in at ailearna.com and look for a billing or subscription section in your account settings. Select the cancel option, confirm, and save or screenshot the confirmation. Keep that screenshot; it’s your proof if charges continue.

If the site doesn’t offer a self-service option, email learnaweb@codeway.co with your account email, a clear request to cancel, and the effective date you want. Keep a copy of the message. If You’re On a Free Trial, Cancel Now

Learna’s free trial converts to a paid subscription automatically. User reports put the trial at roughly three days, after which the app charges about $10 per week for Learna Pro.4Apple. Speak and Learn English Learna on the App Store Left running, that’s over $500 a year.

Both Apple and Google let you cancel right after subscribing without losing the trial. You still get every trial day you were promised; the subscription simply doesn’t renew. The safest routine is to sign up, cancel the same day, use the trial, and let it expire on its own.

What to Do If the Charges Keep Coming

Sometimes a subscription bills again after you canceled. How you paid controls your options.

Credit Card

Federal law gives you 60 days from the date the charge appeared on your statement to dispute it as a billing error. Call the card issuer, and also send a written dispute to the billing address on your statement with your name, account number, the charge amount, and why you believe it’s wrong. The card company must acknowledge the dispute within 30 days of receiving it.5Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. How Do I Dispute a Charge on My Credit Card Bill The written notice has to reach the creditor within that 60-day window.6Office of the Law Revision Counsel. 15 USC 1666 – Correction of Billing Errors

Debit Card

Debit charges follow different rules. Report an unauthorized transaction within 60 days of the date your bank sent the statement showing that charge. If you report within two business days of discovering the problem, your maximum liability is $50. Between two days and 60 days from the statement, your exposure rises to $500. Past 60 days, you can be liable for every unauthorized charge that follows.7Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. 12 CFR Part 1005.6 – Liability of Consumer for Unauthorized Transfers

Complaint

If Learna ignores a cancellation or makes it unreasonably hard, file at ReportFraud.ftc.gov and with your state attorney general.8Federal Trade Commission. Getting In and Out of Free Trials, Auto-Renewals These complaints don’t return your money directly, but they feed enforcement against companies with billing-abuse patterns.

Confirm the Cancellation Took

Verify that the cancellation actually went through. In Apple Settings under Subscriptions, a canceled subscription shows an expiration date instead of a renewal date. In Google Play, the status updates to show when access ends. A direct cancellation with Learna should trigger a confirmation email.

Screenshot every confirmation. Keep any email you sent and any reply. After the date your next charge would have hit, check your statement. If a charge shows up anyway, you already have the documentation to dispute it.
