To cancel your Kuku FM subscription, go to the platform that actually charges you — Google Play, the Apple App Store, the Kuku FM website, or the Amazon Appstore — and turn off the renewal there. If you set up a UPI AutoPay mandate when you signed up, you also have to revoke that mandate inside your payment app, because canceling the subscription itself does not always stop the mandate from charging you.
Find Out Who Is Billing You
Check your bank or card statement first. Apple charges usually read as “apple.com/bill” or “itunes.com/bill.”1Apple Support. If You See an Apple Services Charge You Don’t Recognize on Your Apple Card Google Play charges often show up as “GOOGLE*KUKUFM” or similar. If you paid on kukufm.com, the charge comes from Kuku FM’s payment processor or a third-party gateway.
Your email inbox is another clue. Google receipts come from googleplay-noreply@google.com, Apple receipts from no_reply@email.apple.com, and Kuku FM’s own receipts from their support address. Match the billing source to the right section below.
Cancel on Google Play
Open the Google Play app on your Android phone. Tap your profile picture, then “Payments & subscriptions,” then “Subscriptions.” Tap Kuku FM, then “Cancel subscription.”2Google Play Help. Cancel, Pause, or Change a Subscription on Google Play
Google may ask for a reason. Finish every prompt until you see a confirmation that the subscription will not renew. If you back out before the final step, the subscription stays active and the next charge goes through on schedule. You keep premium access for the time you’ve already paid for.2Google Play Help. Cancel on an iPhone or iPad
Open Settings, tap your name at the top, then “Subscriptions.” Find Kuku FM, tap it, and tap “Cancel Subscription.” The button sometimes sits lower on the screen, so scroll down. If there is no cancel button and you see red expiry text, it is already cancelled.3Apple Support. If You Want to Cancel a Subscription from Apple
Apple may ask for Face ID, Touch ID, or your passcode. Once cancelled, the subscription screen shows an expiration date instead of a renewal date. That is your confirmation.
Cancel on the Kuku FM Website
If you subscribed on kukufm.com with a card or UPI, cancel inside your Kuku FM account rather than an app store. Log in, open your account icon, and go to subscription or billing settings. Click cancel and follow the prompts to the confirmation screen.
You need to cancel before your billing date to avoid being charged for the next cycle.4Kuku FM. Terms and Conditions There is no required advance window such as 48 or 72 hours. Take a screenshot of the confirmation. If a charge is disputed later, that screenshot is your proof.
Cancel on the Amazon Appstore
Go to Amazon’s website and open “Your Account.” Under “Digital content and devices,” choose “Your Apps,” then “Your Subscriptions” under “Manage.” Find Kuku FM and turn off auto-renewal.5Amazon Customer Service. Manage Your Appstore Subscriptions from the Website You keep access through the end of the current billing period.
Revoke the UPI AutoPay Mandate
This is where most cancellations go wrong. If you paid through UPI and approved a recurring AutoPay mandate, canceling the subscription in the Kuku FM app or website does not automatically kill that mandate. The mandate is a separate authorization sitting inside Google Pay, PhonePe, or whichever UPI app you used, and it can keep pulling money until you cancel it there.
Google Pay
Open Google Pay. Tap your profile picture at the top right and select “Autopay.” Under the “Live” tab, tap the Kuku FM mandate, choose “Cancel autopay,” and enter your UPI PIN. Check the “Live” tab again to confirm the status shows cancelled.6Google Pay Help. Learn How to Manage Recurring Payments on Google Pay
PhonePe
Open PhonePe, go to your profile, and tap “Manage Payments.” Select “Autopay” to see your active mandates. Tap the Kuku FM mandate and follow the prompt to stop it. An empty Autopay section means you have no active mandates on PhonePe.
If you get an error while trying to cancel, the bank account linked to the mandate may be inactive. Reactivate it, then try again.6Google Pay Help. Learn How to Manage Recurring Payments on Google Pay
Free Trials and Refund Timing
If you are on a free trial, cancel before it ends. Once the trial auto-renews into a paid subscription, that first charge is not eligible for a refund.7Kuku FM. Help and Support A lot of people assume they can claw it back in the first few days. They can’t.
For renewals after your first paid period, Kuku FM gives a three-day refund window. If you were charged on renewal and act within three days, you can request a refund. Referral plans carry the same three-day window with a full refund available. After three days, the refund is gone, though you keep access until the end of the period you paid for. Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method in 8 to 11 working days.7Kuku FM. Help and Support
After You Cancel
Canceling stops future charges. It does not cut off your access right away. You keep premium content through the end of the billing period you already paid for, whether that is a monthly or annual plan.7Kuku FM. Help and Support
Watch the next billing cycle on your statement. If a charge appears after you cancelled, check whether a UPI AutoPay mandate is still live. For a charge that came through an app store, contact Google Play or Apple support with your cancellation confirmation.
