How to Cancel Impresso Subscription and Get a Refund: iOS, Android, Web

To cancel an Impresso subscription, go to the account settings on whichever platform originally billed you: the Apple App Store, Google Play, or impresso.com. Here is how to cancel an Impresso subscription on each one, plus the single detail that trips people up: deleting the app from your phone does not stop the charges.

Check Who Is Actually Billing You

Pull up your most recent bank or credit card statement and look at how the charge is labeled. If it reads “Apple.com/bill,” Apple manages your subscription. If it reads “GOOGLE*Impresso” or similar, Google Play does. If Impresso appears as the merchant on its own, you signed up through the website.

You can also search your email for the original signup receipt. Apple and Google both send clearly branded confirmations. Getting the biller right is the whole game here. Cancel on the wrong platform and the charges keep coming while you wonder why.

Cancel on iPhone or iPad

If you subscribed on an Apple device, cancel through your Apple ID settings:

  • Open the Settings app.
  • Tap your name at the top.
  • Tap Subscriptions.
  • Tap Impresso in the list.
  • Tap Cancel Subscription. You may need to scroll to find it.

If there is no Cancel button and you see an expiration date in red, the subscription is already canceled.1Apple Support. If You Want to Cancel a Subscription From Apple You keep access to paid features until the current billing period ends, and Apple will not charge you again after that date.

If Impresso does not appear in your Apple subscriptions at all, Apple is not the biller. Go back to your statement and try the Google Play or website path instead.1Apple Support. If You Want to Cancel a Subscription From Apple

Cancel on Android

For subscriptions bought through an Android device:

  • Open the Google Play Store app.
  • Tap your profile icon in the top right.
  • Tap Payments & subscriptions.
  • Tap Subscriptions.
  • Tap Impresso.
  • Tap Cancel subscription and follow the prompts.

Google shows an on-screen confirmation and typically emails one as well. Your access continues through the end of the period you have already paid for.2Google Play Help. Cancel, Pause, or Change a Subscription on Google Play

Cancel a Subscription Bought on Impresso.com

If you signed up directly on the Impresso website rather than through an app store, the process runs through Impresso’s own support. Impresso’s terms state that cancellation and refund requests should be submitted through the support contact information provided within the Impresso app.3Impresso. Impresso Terms of Use Log into your account, look for subscription settings, and if you cannot find a self-serve cancel option, message support.

This route is less clean than the app stores. Keep proof of your request. Save the date, the message you sent, and a screenshot, so you can dispute later charges if the cancellation is not processed.

Uninstalling the App Does Not Cancel It

This is the mistake that keeps people paying. Deleting the Impresso app removes the software from your phone, but the billing agreement with Apple, Google, or Impresso is separate and stays active. Google states it directly: “When you uninstall the app, your subscription won’t cancel.”2Google Play Help. Cancel, Pause, or Change a Subscription on Google Play Apple handles it the same way. You can uninstall Impresso, forget about it for months, and still be billed the whole time.

If you have already deleted the app, you do not need to reinstall it to cancel. The subscription still appears in your Apple or Google Play account settings, and you can cancel from there.

If Your Free Trial Already Converted

Impresso offers a free trial that automatically rolls into a paid subscription when the trial ends. A surprise charge on your statement, often for the $11.99 monthly plan, is usually the trial converting. Canceling now stops the next charge, but it may not refund the one that already hit. See the refund section below.

If you are still inside the trial period and want out, cancel using the steps above. On Apple and Google Play, canceling during a trial does not cut off access early. You keep the trial through its full length, and it simply will not convert.4Federal Trade Commission. Getting In and Out of Free Trials, Auto-Renewals, and Negative Option Subscriptions

Confirm the Cancellation Went Through

Look for two things after you cancel. First, a confirmation email from Apple, Google, or Impresso. Second, go back into the subscription settings and check that the entry now shows an expiration date rather than a next renewal date. Both of those, and you are done.

If you never see a confirmation, or the entry still shows a renewal date, do not assume it took. Contact support for whichever platform bills you, and have your original transaction ID from the signup receipt ready. Watch your next bank statement. A charge that hits after the expiration date is grounds to dispute with your bank or through the platform’s refund process.

Getting a Refund for Charges Already Made

Canceling stops future charges. It does not automatically return money you have already paid. Refunds run through whoever billed you.

Apple

Go to reportaproblem.apple.com and sign in with your Apple ID. Choose “Request a refund,” select a reason, pick the Impresso charge, and submit. Apple usually responds within 48 hours.5Apple Support. Google Play

Go to play.google.com, click your profile picture, then Payments & subscriptions, then Budget & order history. Find the Impresso charge, click “Report a problem,” and complete the refund form. Google typically decides within one to four business days.6Google Play Help. Request a Refund on Google Play For purchases older than 48 hours, Google may route you to the developer instead.

Website Purchases

Impresso’s refund policy for direct web purchases is more generous than the app stores. You can request a full refund within 30 days of purchase. After 30 days, only the most recent payment qualifies. Submit the request through the support contact in the Impresso app. Processing back to the original payment method takes 5 to 10 business days.3Impresso. Impresso Terms of Use

If Cancellation Is Made Difficult

Federal law requires online subscription sellers to disclose the terms clearly, get your informed consent, and provide a simple way to stop the charges under the Restore Online Shoppers’ Confidence Act.7U.S. Congress.
