How to Cancel FuboTV Membership on Any Device

To cancel FuboTV, go to whichever service originally charged you: cancel on fubo.tv if you signed up directly, or through Apple, Google Play, Roku, or Amazon if one of those platforms handles your billing. Fubo runs month-to-month, so once you cancel, your channels and recordings stay available through the end of the billing period you already paid for. There are no prorated refunds and no pause option.

First, Find Out Who Bills You

The cancellation path depends entirely on where you originally subscribed. Pull up a recent bank or credit card statement and check the merchant name. “Fubo.tv” means you signed up directly on the website. “Apple.com/Bill,” “Google*Fubo,” “Roku,” or “Amazon” means that platform handles the charge, and that’s where the cancel button lives.

You can also check inside your account. Log in at fubo.tv, open My Account, and look at the Subscription section. If it shows a billing date and editable plan details, Fubo bills you directly. If it points you to a third party, that third party controls the subscription.

Canceling on the Fubo Website

If you subscribed directly through Fubo:

  • Sign in at fubo.tv and pick your profile from the “Who’s Watching?” screen.
  • Click the gear icon and choose My Account.
  • Select Subscription.
  • Scroll to the bottom and click Cancel.
  • Fubo will likely offer a retention discount. To finish canceling, click Cancel Subscription.

Your dashboard updates to show the cancellation, and Fubo sends a confirmation email. Keep it as your receipt. Access continues until your current billing cycle ends.

Canceling Through Apple

If Apple bills you, the Fubo website can’t cancel it for you. Use your Apple ID instead.

On iPhone or iPad, open Settings, tap your name, tap Subscriptions, find Fubo, and tap Cancel Subscription. On a Mac, open the App Store, click your name in the bottom-left corner, go to Account Settings, find Subscriptions, click Manage next to Fubo, and cancel.

If you don’t see a Cancel button and instead see an expiration date in red, the subscription is already canceled. Apple lets you watch until that date passes.

Canceling Through Google Play

On an Android device, open the Google Play app, tap your profile icon, then Payments & subscriptions, then Subscriptions. Find Fubo and tap Cancel subscription. On the web, go to play.google.com/store/account/subscriptions, find Fubo, and cancel from there. Google confirms the cancellation and displays the date access ends.

Canceling Through Roku

You have two ways to cancel a Roku-billed subscription. On the web, go to my.roku.com, sign in, find your subscriptions, click Unsubscribe next to Fubo, and confirm with Yes, Unsubscribe.

On the device itself, highlight the Fubo channel on your home screen, press the star (*) button on your remote, choose Manage subscription, then Cancel subscription. A message shows how long you can keep watching. Confirm by selecting Cancel subscription again.

Canceling Through Amazon

On the web, sign in to Amazon.com, go to Your Account, select Your Apps under “Digital content and devices,” then Your Subscriptions under “Manage.” Find Fubo and turn off auto-renewal. On a Fire Tablet, open the Appstore, go to your subscriptions, and cancel there. Access continues until the current period expires.

Canceling by Phone or Live Chat

If the website won’t cooperate or you’d rather talk to someone, Fubo support can cancel for you. Call 844-441-3826 or use the chat icon on Fubo’s support pages. Both are available seven days a week from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM Eastern, with possible holiday adjustments. Have your account email and billing zip code ready. Phone works well if you’re locked out of the account or the site is misbehaving.

If You’re Still in a Free Trial

Trial cancellations behave differently depending on where you signed up, and the difference is worth knowing before you click.

If you started your trial through the Fubo website, canceling ends access immediately. You lose the remaining trial days the moment you confirm. If you started through Roku, canceling during a trial lets you keep watching until the trial period expires. Apple and Google Play trials generally follow their own platforms’ standard trial rules, which also let you finish out the trial.

So if you’re on a website trial and want every day of it, wait until near the end to cancel. Just not too late: once the trial converts to a paid month, you owe the full month.

What Happens After You Cancel

Your channels, features, and Cloud DVR recordings stay available through the end of the billing cycle you’ve already paid for. After that, access ends and recordings are no longer viewable.

Fubo does not issue prorated refunds. Cancel on day five of a thirty-day cycle and you keep watching for the remaining twenty-five days, but you won’t get money back for the unused portion. The policy applies whatever your reason, and support documentation doesn’t list exceptions for outages or technical problems. It’s still worth contacting support if you believe you were charged in error. For subscriptions billed through Apple, Google, Roku, or Amazon, any refund request goes through that platform, not Fubo.

Fubo also has no pause option. If you want a break for vacation or an off-season, canceling and later resubscribing is the only route.

Changing Your Mind

If you cancel and reconsider before your billing period ends, you can reverse it. Log in at fubo.tv, open My Account, select Subscription & Billing, and click Reactivate at the top. Your billing date, add-ons, favorite channels, and DVR recordings all stay in place.

If your subscription has already fully ended, you can resubscribe with the same email and password. Fubo shows a “Welcome Back” page listing your previous plan and add-ons, and you can drop any add-ons you no longer want. You won’t get another free trial, you’ll be billed immediately for the full plan, and your new billing date resets to the day you sign back up.
