How to Cancel Elementor Subscription and Get a Refund

To cancel an Elementor Pro subscription, log in at my.elementor.com, open Purchases, click Manage this subscription on the plan you want to end, and switch the Auto renewal toggle off under Billing Information. That’s the whole cancellation. Your Pro access continues through the end of the period you already paid for, and no further charges will be made.1Elementor. Activate or Deactivate Auto-Renewal

There is no separate “Cancel Subscription” button. Elementor treats disabling auto-renewal as the cancellation.2Elementor. Cancel a Subscription

Step-by-Step in the Elementor Dashboard

If You Paid Through PayPal

Turning off auto-renewal in the Elementor dashboard is normally enough, but you can also revoke the payment authorization directly with PayPal for extra certainty or if the toggle isn’t cooperating.

  • On the PayPal website: go to Settings, then Payments, then Subscriptions and saved businesses. Select Elementor and cancel it from that page.
  • In the PayPal app: tap the menu icon, then Subscriptions. Tap the Elementor entry, then Manage, then Stop Paying with PayPal.

This blocks the transfer at the next renewal date even if the Elementor side still shows the subscription as active.

Requesting a Refund Within 30 Days

If your subscription is less than 30 days old, you can ask for a full refund instead of simply stopping future charges. The 30-day window applies to new Elementor Pro and Elementor Hosting subscriptions. Upgrades, renewals, and Elementor AI subscriptions are not eligible.5Elementor.com. Store Policies

Open my.elementor.com/cancellation-form, choose the subscription from the dropdown, and click Continue Cancellation through each step. You’ll be asked for a reason. Submitting the form opens a support ticket, and refunds usually process within 5 to 10 business days.6Elementor. Refund Policy

Two caveats. Elementor may deny refund requests if it sees a pattern of abuse, such as more than one refund for the same product within a 12-month period. And if your purchase included free promotional add-ons, the value of those add-ons is deducted from the refund.5Elementor.com. Store Policies

Back Up First if You Use Elementor Hosting

If your site lives on Elementor Hosting, cancellation is destructive. The site goes offline 72 hours after you cancel and cannot be recovered. Both the site and its database are deleted permanently.6Elementor. Refund Policy

Before you cancel a hosting plan, download a full backup, including the database, media files, and any custom code. If you’re moving to a new host, set that up and migrate the site first. Once the 72 hours are up, there is no undo.

What Happens to Your Site After Cancellation

Your Pro license stays active until the paid period ends. After that date, you lose the ability to update Elementor Pro, add new Pro widgets, edit sites built with Pro-level kits, and use premium support. Anything built with the free version of Elementor keeps working, and the free plugin still updates normally.7Elementor. What Will Happen to My Website(s) if I Don’t Renew Elementor Pro

Pro widgets already placed on your pages don’t disappear, but you won’t be able to edit them or add new ones. If a page relies heavily on Pro elements and you later need to change it, you’ll have to resubscribe or rebuild that section with the free editor.

If You Can’t Log In

If your credentials are lost or the dashboard won’t load, contact Elementor’s Accounts and Billing team through their website. They’ll verify ownership before canceling, so have these ready:

  • The email address on the Elementor account, plus a current contact email if it’s different.
  • The plan tier (Essential, Advanced, Expert, or other).
  • Proof of purchase: the last four digits of the card with the cardholder name and purchase amount, a PayPal Transaction ID, an invoice number, or the number of connected sites plus at least one site URL.

Any one of the proof-of-purchase options should be enough. Your original purchase receipt has most of these details.

Confirming It Worked

Return to Purchases or Subscriptions in the dashboard and check that auto-renewal shows as disabled. If nothing has changed, wait a few minutes and refresh. If it still looks active, contact support with the proof-of-purchase details above.

PayPal users can cross-check by opening the PayPal automatic payments page and confirming Elementor no longer appears as an active merchant. A screenshot of both the Elementor dashboard status and the PayPal confirmation is worth keeping in case a charge goes through anyway.
