How you cancel a Duomo subscription depends on where you signed up. Subscribed through the App Store on an iPhone or iPad? Cancel in your Apple account settings. Signed up on Android? Cancel in Google Play. Subscribed directly on Duomo’s website? You’ll need to email support@goduomo.com. Deleting the app does not stop billing, and if you miss the cancellation window before your next renewal date, you’ll be charged for another cycle.

Timing is the part people miss. Apple requires you to cancel at least 24 hours before the end of your current billing period; miss that window and Apple charges you for the next cycle automatically.3Apple. Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions Once you cancel, premium features remain available until the current period ends, and no further charges apply.

Google’s deadline is stricter than Apple’s. Cancel at least 48 hours before your renewal date to avoid being charged for the next cycle. You keep access through the end of the period you’ve already paid for.

Confirm You’re Cancelling the Right Plan
Match the charge on your statement to one of Duomo’s current tiers so you know exactly what you’re stopping:
- Weekly Premium: $9.99 per week
- Monthly Premium: $19.99 per month
- 3-Month Premium: $39.99 every three months
- Yearly Premium: $69.99 or $89.99 per year, depending on the plan
- Premium Listening Mode: $19.99 one-time purchase
The weekly plan is easy to overlook because charges come so often. If you signed up during a free trial, your subscription defaults to the plan you selected at signup once the trial ends.
Getting a Refund for a Charge That Already Hit
Cancelling stops future charges. It doesn’t automatically refund the most recent one. The refund path depends on where you subscribed.
Apple
Go to reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in with your Apple ID, and select Request a refund. Choose the Duomo charge from your purchase history and explain why you’re asking. Apple typically responds within 24 to 48 hours.8Apple Support. Request a Refund for Apps or Content That You Bought From Apple Approval isn’t guaranteed, but accidental renewals where you cancelled slightly too late tend to be treated favorably.
Google Play

After You Cancel
Look for a confirmation email from Duomo, Apple, or Google. Save it. If a billing dispute comes up later, that message is your proof of when you cancelled. The FTC recommends keeping copies of cancellation requests and notes from any conversations along the way.10Federal Trade Commission. Tried to Cancel a Service but Couldnt Learn Steps to Take
Watch your statement for at least one full billing cycle after cancelling. Monthly plans, give it 30 days. Weekly plans, at least two weeks. If a new Duomo charge appears after you’ve confirmed the cancellation, that saved email is what you’ll need to get it reversed.
If Duomo Keeps Charging You
Contact your credit card issuer and dispute the charge. Under the Fair Credit Billing Act, you can dispute unauthorized charges by sending written notice to your card issuer’s billing inquiry address within 60 days of the statement containing the error. Include your name, account number, the charge amount, and why the charge is wrong. Send the letter certified mail with return receipt requested so you have proof.11Federal Trade Commission. Using Credit Cards and Disputing Charges Your issuer must acknowledge the dispute within 30 days and resolve it within 90. During the investigation, you can withhold payment on the disputed amount without being reported delinquent.
If you paid with a debit card, ask your bank for a stop payment order to block future charges from Duomo. Banks typically charge $15 to $35 for this. A stop payment blocks the transaction at the bank level, but it doesn’t cancel the subscription, so you still want written confirmation from Duomo or the app store that your account is closed.
You can also file a complaint with the FTC at reportfraud.ftc.gov. The FTC’s click-to-cancel rule requires subscription sellers to make cancellation as easy as signing up and to stop charges immediately once you cancel.12Federal Trade Commission.
