To cancel a Duet Display subscription, use the same platform where you signed up: cancel on the Duet website if you subscribed directly, in your Apple ID Subscriptions if you signed up through the App Store, or in Google Play Subscriptions if you signed up on Android. Deleting the app does nothing to your billing. Duet’s own help page warns that “simply signing out, uninstalling the app or closing your browser will not cancel your subscription.”1Duet. Find Out Where You Subscribed
Check the billing descriptor on your bank or credit card statement first. A charge from Apple or Google means the subscription lives in that store’s account, and Duet’s support team cannot cancel it for you.1Duet. How to Manage and Cancel Your Duet Subscription A charge from Duet directly means you cancel on the website.
You can cross-check by signing in at duetdisplay.com and opening the Account tab. If it shows an active plan with a Manage Subscription button, billing runs through Duet. If Account shows no active plan but charges are still landing, the subscription is almost certainly in your App Store or Play Store account.
Cancel Through the Duet Website
Sign in at duetdisplay.com and go to Account. Under Your Plan or Profile, click Manage Subscription, then Cancel Subscription.1Duet. How to Manage and Cancel Your Duet Subscription Wait for the confirmation message to appear, and look for the follow-up email in your inbox and spam folder.

Open the Google Play Store app on your Android device. Tap your profile icon in the top right, then Payments and Subscriptions, then Subscriptions. Tap Duet Display and select Cancel Subscription, then confirm. Access continues through the end of the paid period.
If you no longer have the Android device you signed up on, you can do the same thing from a browser at play.google.com/store/account/subscriptions.
Getting a Refund
Canceling stops future charges. It does not automatically refund the current billing period.
For subscriptions billed by Duet directly, email team@duetdisplay.com with your account email, the charge amount, and the transaction date. Duet’s help center does not publish a formal refund policy, so outcomes vary. Explain why you are asking, especially if you were charged after trying to cancel or hit with an unexpected renewal.
For Apple charges, go to reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in with your Apple ID, find the Duet Display charge, and submit a refund request.3Apple Support. If You Cannot Log In to Your Duet Account
Use the Forgot Password link on the login page first. The reset email goes to whatever address you used to create the account, so check spam as well.
If you’ve lost access entirely, email team@duetdisplay.com with the account email and anything you know about the subscription, such as the charge amount or the payment method used.1Duet. How to Manage and Cancel Your Duet Subscription Support can cancel website-based subscriptions on your behalf. They cannot touch subscriptions billed by Apple or Google. Those you have to cancel in the App Store or Play Store yourself, regardless of your Duet account status.
Confirming the Right Subscription Was Canceled
Compare the amount on your statement to Duet’s tiers to make sure you canceled the plan you’re actually being billed for. Duet’s website lists Starter at $3 per month, Air at $4, Studio at $5, and Pro at $6, each billed annually. Prices through the Apple App Store run higher because of Apple’s commission; Duet Air, for example, is $49.99 per year or $5.99 per month through Apple, and Duet Pro is $79.99 per year or $8.49 per month. Google Play pricing is comparable to Apple’s. If the amount on your statement doesn’t match the plan you thought you had, you may have a second subscription on another platform.
Stopping Payment Through Your Bank
If charges keep hitting after you have properly canceled, you can stop the payment at the bank. Under federal law, you can halt a preauthorized electronic transfer by notifying your bank or credit card company at least three business days before the next scheduled charge.5Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. 12 CFR 1005.10 – Preauthorized Transfers The bank may ask you to confirm the request in writing within 14 days.
Treat this as a last resort. Cancel through the correct platform first and save the confirmation email or a screenshot. If charges still appear after that, bring the evidence to your bank. Filing a chargeback or stop-payment before canceling through the proper channel can complicate the dispute, because the merchant may contest the reversal.
