To cancel Disney Plus, go to whichever company actually bills you and cancel there: Disney directly, Apple, Google, Amazon, Roku, Hulu, or Verizon. The steps below cover each one, but the first move is the same for everyone: find out who is charging your card.
Find Out Who Bills You
Your credit card or bank statement shows the merchant of record. A charge labeled “Apple.com/Bill” means Apple handles the subscription. “Google Disney Plus” means Google. A charge from “Disney+” or “Disney Plus” usually means you signed up directly with Disney.
If the statement line is unclear, check your device. On iPhone, open Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions; if Disney+ appears, Apple bills you. On Android, open Settings, tap Google, then Payments and subscriptions. You can also log in at disneyplus.com/account, where the billing section identifies who collects the payment.1Disney+. How to Cancel Disney+
This matters because Disney can only cancel subscriptions it bills. If a third party collects the money, the Cancel button on the Disney site won’t appear, and you have to go to that platform instead.
Cancel on the Disney Plus Website
If Disney bills you directly, use a browser on your computer or phone:
- Log in at disneyplus.com and select your Profile icon.
- Select Account, then find your subscription under the Subscription heading.
- Select Cancel Subscription.
- Complete or skip the optional exit survey, then confirm.
You keep access through the end of the current billing period. If you signed up under a promotional offer with a minimum term, billing continues until that term ends even if you cancel early.1Disney+. How to Cancel Disney+
Cancel Through Apple
On iPhone or iPad, open Settings, tap your name, tap Subscriptions, tap the Disney+ entry, then tap Cancel Subscription. You may need to scroll down. If there is no Cancel button and you see a red expiration message, the subscription is already canceled.2Apple Support. If You Want to Cancel a Subscription From Apple

Cancel Through Google Play
On Android:
- Open Settings, tap Google, then tap your name.
- Tap Manage your Google Account.

You can also open the Google Play Store app, go to the subscriptions section, select Disney+, and tap Cancel subscription. Either path reaches the same place.5Google Play Help. Cancel, Pause, or Change a Subscription on Google Play
Cancel Through Amazon
If you subscribed as a Prime Video add-on channel:
- Go to primevideo.com and open Account and Settings.
- Select Your subscriptions from the top menu.
- Find Disney+ in your add-on list.
- Select Unsubscribe and confirm.
Amazon shows your subscription end date on the confirmation screen, and you can reverse the cancellation up until that date. After the end date, access stops. Amazon does not refund previous subscription charges.4Amazon. Cancel Your Prime Video Add-On Subscription
Cancel Through Roku
Roku is the exception. Even though Roku bills for many streaming apps, Disney+ subscriptions billed through Roku have to be canceled by contacting Disney+ directly. Roku’s self-service subscription page won’t process it. Reach Disney+ support through help.disneyplus.com or by calling 888-905-7888.6Roku Support. Manage or Cancel Subscriptions on Roku
Cancel a Hulu Bundle
Who you contact depends on which company bills you. Open your Hulu Account page and check the Payment Information section. If it says you’re billed by Disney, cancel at disneyplus.com/account. If Hulu handles billing, cancel at hulu.com/account.7Hulu. Managing a Disney-Billed Account
Watch for one common trap. If you had separate Disney+ or ESPN+ subscriptions before signing up for the bundle, those older subscriptions keep billing on their own until you cancel each one. People sometimes discover months later that they’ve been paying twice.7Hulu. Managing a Disney-Billed Account
Cancel a Verizon Bundle
Verizon wireless and home internet customers who receive the Disney Bundle as a plan perk must cancel through Verizon. Only an Account Owner or Account Manager can make the change. In the My Verizon app, go to the Me tab, then Manage products and plan perks, select The Disney Bundle, tap Unsubscribe under the applicable phone number, review, and tap Confirm. If the option doesn’t appear on an Apple device, try a browser instead.8Verizon. Remove Disney Bundle
When the Cancel Button Is Missing
If you log in and don’t see a Cancel Subscription option, a third party is almost certainly billing you. Go back to your bank statement and account settings and cancel through Apple, Google, Amazon, Roku, Hulu, or Verizon.
The button also disappears occasionally for timing reasons. If your next invoice date is a day or two away, the option sometimes hides temporarily and returns after the billing cycle rolls over. If nothing works, contact Disney+ support, which can process the cancellation regardless of what the website shows.
What Happens After You Cancel
Canceling doesn’t shut off access right away. You keep watching through the end of the billing period you already paid for, whether monthly or annual. After that date, streaming stops and no further charges apply.1Disney+. How to Cancel Disney+
Disney+ does not refund partial billing periods. The subscriber agreement states this directly, though the company reserves the right to make case-by-case exceptions.9Disney+. Look for a confirmation email within a few hours. If none arrives, log back in and check that your subscription status shows as canceled. The most reliable confirmation is your next bank statement: if no Disney+ charge appears after the next billing date would have hit, the cancellation went through.
