Find Out Who Is Actually Billing You

BandLab doesn’t process every payment itself. If you signed up on an iPhone or iPad, Apple bills you. If you signed up on Android, Google Play bills you. If you subscribed through a web browser, the charge runs through a payment processor called Paddle.net.3BandLab Help Center. Payments FAQs

Not sure? Check your card statement. Apple charges usually appear as “Apple.com/bill,” Google charges show as “Google” or a variant, and web-based BandLab charges appear as “Paddle.net.” You can also open the BandLab app, open your profile settings, and look for the Membership tab, which shows your plan and billing source. Canceling in the wrong place won’t stop the charges.

The 24-Hour Refund Rule

BandLab’s refund policy says to cancel at least 24 hours before your next billing date to avoid another charge.1BandLab Help Center. Refund Policy Payments are non-refundable except for service issues or billing errors. Cancel on renewal day after the charge posts and you’re unlikely to get that cycle back from BandLab.

If Apple or Google collected the payment, they control any refund, not BandLab. Each has its own process and its own timeline.

What You Keep After Canceling

Canceling doesn’t cut off paid features right away. You keep access through the end of the billing period you already paid for. After that, the account drops to BandLab’s free tier.

Projects and recordings stay in your account — you don’t lose anything you’ve made. Premium features like advanced mastering tools, expanded storage, and creator perks stop working when the free tier takes over.7BandLab Help Center. BandLab Membership FAQ

What Happens to Music You Distributed

Before you cancel, check whether you’ve used BandLab Distribution to put tracks on Spotify, Apple Music, or other streaming services. If your membership isn’t renewed in time, those releases get taken down.8BandLab. BandLab Distribution FAQ Distribution is tied to the paid tier.

If you’re earning royalties or building an audience, this is the biggest reason to pause and think. Keeping your releases live means resubscribing or moving them to another distributor, and re-uploading can leave gaps in availability and reset listener stats.

If Cancellation Doesn’t Work

If you can’t find the cancel option, keep getting charged after canceling, or hit a billing error, BandLab has a support portal where you can submit a request. You’ll need to sign into your account to use it.9BandLab Help Center. Submit a Request

For charges collected by Apple or Google, contact those platforms directly for billing disputes. BandLab support can handle account issues, but they can’t refund a transaction they didn’t process.
