To cancel an AM Apps Ltd subscription, use the billing channel that took your money in the first place. If you subscribed on an iPhone or iPad, cancel through your Apple ID subscription settings. If you subscribed on Android, cancel through the Google Play Store. If AM Apps Ltd charged your card or bank account directly, cancel through the company’s website or by emailing its support address. The app itself is not where cancellation happens for App Store or Play Store subscriptions, and uninstalling it does nothing to stop the charges.
Cancel on iPhone or iPad
Apple handles the billing for anything you bought through the App Store, so the cancel button lives in Settings.
- Open Settings and tap your name at the top.
- Tap Subscriptions.
- Find the AM Apps Ltd product and tap it.
- Tap Cancel Subscription and confirm.
If there is no cancel button, or you see an expiration message in red, the subscription is already canceled.1Apple Support. If You Want to Cancel a Subscription From Apple You keep access to paid features through the end of the billing period you already paid for.
Cancel on Android
Google bills for Play Store subscriptions, and cancellation runs through the Play Store app rather than the AM Apps Ltd app.
- Open the Google Play Store app.
- Tap your profile icon, then Payments & subscriptions, then Subscriptions.
- Tap the AM Apps Ltd subscription.
- Tap Cancel subscription and follow the prompts.
Access continues until the paid period ends. Deleting the app is not canceling. People discover months of charges after assuming an uninstall was enough, so always use the subscription menu first.
Cancel a Direct Billing Arrangement
If the charge is not coming through Apple or Google, AM Apps Ltd is billing your card or bank account itself. Log in on their website and look for a billing, plan, or account link, usually in the footer or inside the account dashboard, and end the plan from there.
If there is no self-service option, email the support address listed in the app’s terms of service. Include your name, the email on the account, any subscription or order ID, and a plain statement that you are canceling. Keep the sent message. That timestamp is your proof of when you asked to stop.
Federal law is on your side here. The Restore Online Shoppers’ Confidence Act requires any business that sells subscriptions online through a negative option feature to provide a simple way to stop recurring charges.2Office of the Law Revision Counsel. 15 USC 8403 – Negative Option Marketing on the Internet Under the FTC’s Click-to-Cancel rule, canceling has to be at least as easy as signing up, and the seller cannot force you to speak with a live or virtual representative to cancel if you didn’t have to speak with one to subscribe.3eCFR. 16 CFR 425.6 – Simple Cancellation (Click to Cancel) If AM Apps Ltd routes you through a retention chat or a phone tree when you subscribed with taps in an app, you can report that to the FTC at ftc.gov.
If Charges Keep Coming
Check your statements for at least two billing cycles after you cancel. A charge that appears after you have a cancellation confirmation is a dispute, not a renewal.
Stop the Bank Draft
For subscriptions billed as electronic fund transfers from a bank account, you can order your bank to stop future preauthorized payments by giving notice at least three business days before the next scheduled charge.4eCFR. 12 CFR 1005.10 – Preauthorized Transfers The notice can be oral or written, and the bank may require you to confirm in writing within 14 days.5Office of the Law Revision Counsel. 15 USC 1693e – Preauthorized Transfers
If an unauthorized charge has already posted, report it fast. You have 60 days from the date your financial institution sends the statement showing the charge to notify them of the error, and your protections shrink after that.6eCFR. 12 CFR 1005.11 – Procedures for Resolving Errors Give your name, account number, the date and amount of the charge, and why you believe it was not authorized.
File a Chargeback
A chargeback asks your card issuer to reverse a charge. Save it for after you have tried canceling through the app store and contacting the company, because issuers want to see a good-faith effort first. Filing a chargeback against a developer can also get your account with that developer banned, which can pull previously purchased content with it. If you use other products from the same company, weigh that before you file. If the company is ignoring cancellation and still billing you, the chargeback is what it is designed for.
Getting Money Back for Past Charges
Canceling stops the next charge. Refunds for charges already taken run through whichever platform processed the payment.
Apple
Go to reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in with your Apple ID, find the charge in your purchase history, and select “Request a refund.”7Apple Support. Request a Refund for Apps or Content That You Bought From Apple Apple usually responds in 24 to 48 hours. Eligibility depends on country and how long ago the charge occurred, so submit quickly.
Google Play
Google’s policies vary by product, timing, and location. For unauthorized charges, you have 120 days from the transaction to report them.8Google Play Help. Learn About Google Play Refund Policies For standard subscription refunds, Google may direct you to the app developer, which is allowed to process refunds under its own policy. Start at play.google.com/store/account, open order history, and initiate the request from there.
Free Trials That Roll Into Paid Plans
If AM Apps Ltd is charging you after a free trial, the same federal rule applies: the company must clearly disclose all billing terms before it collects your payment information and must obtain your explicit consent before the first charge.2Office of the Law Revision Counsel. 15 USC 8403 – Negative Option Marketing on the Internet Pre-checked boxes and buried disclosures don’t count. If you never received a clear notice that the trial was ending and a charge was coming, that supports both a refund request and a dispute.
Records to Keep
Before you tap cancel, screenshot the subscription page with your plan and renewal date. After you cancel, save the confirmation screen or email and note the exact date and time. If you canceled by email, keep both the sent message and any reply. Your bank will want proof that you canceled, and the app store may want proof of when the problem started. The 60-day error-reporting window starts when your statement arrives, not when the charge posts, so opening statements on time is the cheapest protection you have.6eCFR. 12 CFR 1005.11 – Procedures for Resolving Errors
