How to Cancel AirScreen Subscription on Any Device

To cancel an AirScreen subscription, go to the app store that charged you in the first place — Google Play, Apple, Amazon, or Roku — and cancel it there. AirScreen rarely bills you directly. The store that processed your original purchase handles the billing, so that’s the only place a cancellation will actually work. Uninstalling the app does nothing to the charges.

First, Find Out Who’s Billing You

If you cancel in the wrong place, the subscription won’t even show up. Figure out the billing platform before you do anything else.

Search your email for “AirScreen,” “subscription,” or “receipt.” Your original purchase confirmation will name the store that processed it. If nothing turns up, check your bank or credit card statement for a charge from Google, Apple, Amazon, or Roku. Also look for “Paddle” (paddle.com or paddle.net), a third-party payment processor some software companies use. Once you know who’s charging you, jump to the matching section below.

Cancel on Google Play (Android)

Uninstalling the AirScreen app does not cancel your subscription. Google keeps billing you until you cancel through the Play Store itself.1Google Play Help. Cancel, Pause, or Change a Subscription on Google Play This trips up more people than any other part of the process.

Open the Google Play Store on your Android device, tap your profile icon, then tap Payments & subscriptions, then Subscriptions. Find AirScreen, tap it, and select Cancel subscription. Follow the prompts through to the final confirmation screen — if you close out before that last step, nothing happens.1Google Play Help. Cancel, Pause, or Change a Subscription on Google Play

You can also do this from any browser at play.google.com/store/account/subscriptions, signed into the same Google account.

Cancel on Apple (iPhone, iPad, Apple TV)

On an iPhone or iPad, open Settings and tap your name at the top. Tap Subscriptions. You’ll see every active and expired subscription on your Apple Account. Tap AirScreen, then tap Cancel Subscription. You may need to scroll down to find the button.2Apple. If You Want to Cancel a Subscription From Apple If you see a red expiration message, it’s already canceled.

On an Apple TV, go to Settings, then Users & Accounts, select your account, and choose Subscriptions. Same cancel option. It works identically across Apple devices as long as you’re signed into the same Apple Account.3Apple Support. See Your Purchases and Subscriptions in the App Store on iPhone

Cancel on Amazon (Fire TV)

The quickest route is a browser. Go to amazon.com/yourmembershipsandsubscriptions, find AirScreen, click Manage Subscription, and then Cancel Subscription under the advanced controls.4Amazon. Manage Your Amazon Subscriptions

On a Fire TV, you can also handle it in the Appstore settings: Your Account, then Your Apps under digital content, then Your Subscriptions.5Amazon. Manage Your Appstore Subscriptions From the Website Either way, you keep access through the end of the current billing period.

Cancel on Roku

From the Roku home screen, highlight the AirScreen channel with the arrow buttons on your remote. Press the Star button (the asterisk) to open the options menu. Choose Manage subscription, then cancel, then confirm.6Roku. Manage or Cancel Subscriptions on Roku

If the remote isn’t nearby, sign in at my.roku.com, go to Manage your subscriptions, and cancel from there.

What Happens After You Cancel

Your paid features don’t vanish the moment you cancel. You’ve already paid for the current billing period, so the ad-free experience and HD streaming keep working until that period runs out. After the expiration date, AirScreen reverts to its free version with ads.

Confirm the cancellation went through by looking at the subscription in the same place you canceled it. Google Play shows an expiration date. Apple shows a red expiration message. Amazon and Roku show that auto-renewal is off. If the status still reads “active” or “renewing,” the cancellation didn’t take and you need to run through the steps again.

Getting a Refund

Canceling stops the next charge. It does not get your money back for the period you’re currently in. Refund rules depend on the store.

  • Google Play. Request a refund at play.google.com/store/account/orderhistory. Sign in, find the AirScreen charge, and submit the request. Approval isn’t guaranteed, but requests filed soon after the charge are more likely to go through.7Google Play Help. Request Your Google Play Refund
  • Apple. Go to reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in, and choose Request a refund. Pick a reason, select the AirScreen charge, and submit. Expect an answer in 24 to 48 hours. You can’t request a refund on a pending charge, so wait for the email receipt first.8Apple Support. Request a Refund for Apps or Content That You Bought From Apple
  • Amazon. Amazon treats app and in-app purchases as final. It will issue a prorated refund if Amazon itself ends a subscription early, but otherwise you’ll need to contact Amazon customer service directly.9Amazon. Amazon Appstore for Android Terms of Use
  • Roku. Roku’s policy is blunt: subscriptions purchased through Roku are prepaid, final, and non-refundable, with no refunds for partial-term cancellations. Free trials must be canceled before the trial ends to avoid the first charge.10Roku. Roku Content and Subscription Refund Policy

You Can’t Find the Subscription Anywhere

If you’ve checked all four stores and AirScreen isn’t listed in any of them, you’re probably signed into the wrong account. People with multiple Google or Apple accounts hit this all the time. Sign in with every email you use and check subscriptions under each one.

It’s also possible the subscription went through a third-party payment processor. If your bank statement shows a charge from paddle.com or paddle.net, visit paddle.net to look up the transaction and manage it there. Paddle resells software for many companies, so a Paddle charge won’t appear in any app store.

On Apple devices with Family Sharing, the family organizer’s account controls shared subscriptions. The cancellation has to happen from that account, not yours. If nothing else resolves it, you can dispute the charge with your bank, but try the platform’s cancellation and refund process first — banks generally expect you to work it out with the merchant before stepping in.
