How to Cancel a VeePN Subscription and Get a Refund

To cancel a VeePN subscription, you need to cancel wherever your payment actually comes from: VeePN’s own website, the Apple App Store, Google Play, or PayPal. Canceling in the wrong place does nothing, because VeePN cannot stop a charge that another company processes. Once you cancel, auto-renewal turns off, but your VPN keeps working until the end of the billing period you already paid for.

First, Check Who Is Billing You

Pull up a recent bank or credit card statement and look at the merchant name on the VeePN charge. That name tells you which cancellation path to follow.

  • A charge from Apple, often listed as “APPLE.COM/BILL,” means you subscribed through the App Store.
  • A charge routed through Google means you used Google Play.
  • A charge showing VeePN’s name directly means you bought through their website.
  • A charge in your PayPal activity with VeePN as the merchant means it is a PayPal automatic payment.

If Apple handles your billing, logging into VeePN’s dashboard and hunting for a cancel button will not stop the charge. Apple keeps billing you on schedule until you cancel through Apple. The same goes for Google Play and PayPal.

Cancel on VeePN’s Website

If you bought directly from VeePN, log in at veepn.com with the email and password you signed up with. Go to your account dashboard and open the subscription or auto-renewal settings. VeePN’s help center points users to a subscription management section where you can turn auto-renewal off.1VeePN Support. How Can I Cancel the Auto-renewal

Expect a few confirmation prompts and possibly a retention offer before it goes through. When you finish, watch for an on-screen message or email confirming that auto-renewal is off, and save it. If a charge still appears after you canceled, that confirmation is your evidence when disputing it with your bank.

Cancel Through the Apple App Store

If you subscribed on an iPhone or iPad, open the Settings app, tap your name at the top, then tap Subscriptions. Find VeePN in the list, tap it, and tap Cancel Subscription. You may need to scroll down to see the cancel button. If you see an expiration message in red text, the subscription is already canceled.2Apple Support. If You Want To Cancel a Subscription From Apple

One detail trips people up: if you signed up for a free trial through Apple, cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, or Apple charges you for the first paid period automatically.2Apple Support. If You Want To Cancel a Subscription From Apple

Cancel Through Google Play

Android users cancel inside Google Play, not inside the VeePN app. Open the Google Play Store app, tap your profile icon, and go to Payments and Subscriptions, then Subscriptions. Select VeePN and tap Cancel Subscription, then follow the prompts.3Google Play Help. Cancel, Pause, or Change a Subscription on Google Play

Google may ask why you are leaving before finalizing. Pick any reason and continue. Once confirmed, no further charges will process through your linked payment method.

Cancel Through PayPal

If VeePN charges show up in your PayPal activity, log into PayPal and go to Settings, then Payments, then Automatic Payments (sometimes labeled “Subscriptions and saved businesses”). Find VeePN and cancel the agreement.4PayPal. What Is an Automatic Payment and How Do I Update or Cancel One

Canceling the PayPal agreement cuts off the payment pipeline no matter what VeePN’s own dashboard shows. That is useful to know if the VeePN site is giving you trouble or if your account login is not working.

Getting a Refund

VeePN offers a money-back guarantee, and the window depends on the plan you bought:

  • 1-week and 1-month plans: 14 days from the original purchase date.
  • 6-month plans and longer: 30 days from the original purchase date.

The clock runs from when you first paid, not from when you cancel auto-renewal.5VeePN Support. What Is Your Refund Policy

To ask for a refund, contact VeePN support through their help center ticket system, using the email address you registered with so they can find your account.5VeePN Support. What Is Your Refund Policy VeePN says they prefer to troubleshoot first, so expect some back-and-forth before approval. Once approved, processing time depends on your bank or payment provider and typically takes several business days.

If you subscribed through Apple or Google Play, the refund request has to go through that platform. VeePN cannot refund money it never collected, and Apple and Google each run their own refund process.

What Happens to Your Access After You Cancel

Canceling does not cut off the VPN right away. You keep using VeePN through the end of the billing period you already paid for. If you paid for a year and cancel three months in, you still have nine months of service left. The cancellation just blocks the next charge. Outside the money-back window, there is no partial refund for the unused time, so plan the cancellation around the renewal date if you want to use what you paid for.

If a Company Makes Cancellation Difficult

As of July 2025, the FTC’s amended Negative Option Rule requires any company selling subscriptions to make cancellation at least as easy as signing up. If you subscribed online, the company has to offer an equally simple online cancellation path and cannot force you to call a phone number or speak with a representative.6Federal Register. If a subscription service blocks or buries the cancel button, you can file a complaint with the FTC at ftc.gov. You can also dispute unauthorized charges with your credit card company. Under the Fair Credit Billing Act, your card issuer must investigate disputed charges if you notify them in writing within 60 days of the statement date.7Federal Trade Commission.
