To cancel a NinjaTrader subscription, log in to your Account Dashboard, open Settings from the user profile menu, select the Plans tab, and click Cancel Renewal next to each item you want to stop. The catch is that NinjaTrader bills several things separately, so one click rarely does it. Market data feeds, your monthly account plan, and any add-ons each have their own Cancel Renewal button, and every data subscription renews on the first of the month with no proration. Cancel before the 1st or you pay for the full month ahead.
Figure Out What Is Actually Billing You
Before you cancel anything, know which charges you have. NinjaTrader groups recurring fees into three separate buckets:

Each lives on the same Plans page but under a different section, and each needs its own cancellation.
Cancel Market Data Feeds

- Log in to your NinjaTrader Account Dashboard.
- Click the user profile icon in the upper-right corner and choose Settings.
- Select the Plans tab on the left.
- Scroll down to the Market Data section.
- Click Cancel Renewal next to each feed you want to stop.
If the Cancel Renewal button isn’t there, the subscription is already canceled or all funds have been withdrawn from your account.4NinjaTrader Support. Changing or Cancelling an Existing Data Subscription Confirm either way by checking that the status next to the feed reads “Cancelled.”
Cancel Add-Ons and the Account Plan
Same path, different section. On the Plans page, scroll past Market Data to Plan Upgrades and click Cancel Renewal next to the add-on you want gone, whether that’s Order Flow+, TradingView, or Multiple Broker access.3NinjaTrader Support. Cancelling NinjaTrader Account Add-Ons
One quirk to know in advance: once you cancel an add-on’s renewal, you cannot resubscribe to that same add-on until the existing subscription fully expires.3NinjaTrader Support. The $99 monthly Account Plan cancels from the same Plans page. Dropping it reverts your commissions to the Free tier rates, so if you plan to keep trading, factor the higher per-contract cost into the decision.2NinjaTrader. Your Trading Advantage Starts with Great Pricing
Watch the First of the Month
Every market data subscription renews on the first, not on the anniversary of your signup date. The full monthly price hits at the start of each month regardless of when you first subscribed.5NinjaTrader Support. Subscribing to Market Data Subscribe on the 20th and you pay the full month; the next full month lands on the 1st.
There is no proration. NinjaTrader’s terms of service state that no refund is issued for a subscription terminated before the current period expires, and this covers both data feeds and platform licenses.6NinjaTrader. Terms of Service Agreement The practical deadline is the last day of the current month. Click Cancel Renewal on January 31st and February’s charge won’t post. Wait until February 1st and you’re locked in for February.
What You Keep Until the Period Ends
Canceling a renewal doesn’t shut off access immediately. You keep the data feed, add-on, or plan benefit for the rest of the current billing period.4NinjaTrader Support. Once the paid period ends, your account itself doesn’t go away. The Free tier still gives you the desktop, web, and mobile platforms, advanced charting, simulated trading, and third-party tool integration.2NinjaTrader. Your Trading Advantage Starts with Great Pricing What stops is real-time market data, trading access, and any add-on features. Those reactivate only if you resubscribe or fund the account again.
Closing the Brokerage Account Is a Separate Step
If you want to walk away from NinjaTrader entirely, closing the account does not cancel the subscriptions for you. NinjaTrader requires you to cancel any monthly Account Plan, renewing Market Data subscription, and add-ons through the Settings page before closing the account, and the same requirement applies to unfunded accounts with active add-ons.7NinjaTrader Support. This is where people get caught. Funds get withdrawn, the account looks dead, and a forgotten data subscription keeps charging a linked payment method for months. Cancel the subscriptions first, verify each one shows “Cancelled” on the Plans page, then start the account closure.
